That's what I keep saying..SKZ was 1st for me..but let's just say we take into account IN's mistake and so technically deduct points for that, then also 2nd or 3rd at most but any lower is just BS!!!

So do u know what guideline exactly people or experts talked about that they didn't follow

They worked so so hard and those notes that they hit were some that they've never really hit before. And they got last. Watching this episode for the first time made me sad for I.N because he must have felt that the score being so low was his fault. That voice crack brought so so much more emotion to the performance because it makes it seem like he's actually upset when singing. The judges did them way to fucking dirty with that. I was way to pissed off when I saw the score for the first time

And btob should have been 3rd cause they killed it. Both of them went completely out of the element for this performances and they got the lowest ranking like bffr. I’m glad that btob atleast got the 3rd place which they really deserved. I liked sf9 performance I paced them 4th place cause they did so good.

It was not noticeable until they cornered him on camera about it after. Its like playing a single wrong note in an orchestra symphony & acting like it was a huge shitshow. Not saying the other teams did bad, or that they deserved 1st necessarily, but the judges (or Mnet making drama...) did Skz so dirty.

Only explanation for me is that the devil imagery disturbed people as Korea can be quite conservative + Mnet can be sketchy as hell (they also seem to have something against Btob for some reason so SKZ performing one of their songs might have impacted the whole thing)

2023-10-23 05:06:30 +0000 UTCpersonally though i think all groups deserve to be congratulated and cheered on regardless of what place they come in. saying sf9 doesn't "deserve" second place considering all these groups work super hard is a little cruel. 😭 i understand your point though bcs even i wouldn't have placed them so high, for me second place would be either skz or the boyz with ateez in first but i will never downplay any of these groups performances just bcs i preferred another over it. i feel like kingdom was hell to watch when it came out bcs everybody was sooo negative, fanwars everywhere when the groups themselves are friends and cheer each other on. 1. this is mnet so a lot of voting will be sketchy or seem odd but let's also keep in mind that having almost all the ranks come down to global votes puts groups like skz, and ateez at an unfair advantage already. and 2. honestly watching this the focus should more be on the actual stages and soaking in the simpary these men have for one another lol. also to answer your sorta question abt the english speaking idols being friends, it's actually very true ! along with that among the kpop idols there's several group chats stretched across multiple groups who share similar nationalities. like there's a group chat for chinese idols and they all meet up and chill from time to time same as with the american idols, the canadian idols, aussie idols and thai idols ( and so on ) it's always really cool to see different groups hanging with eachother and being besties.

2023-09-17 00:58:17 +0000 UTCThere are two things about the absolute shit result SKZ got that make me so sad: 1) Our baby bread cried (and later probably thought it was his fault) 2) Hannie K!LLED his throat for this performance, yet STILL delivered The, uh, "experts", must have fallen asleep before this stage, that's the only explanation (aside from rigging, but I don't know enough to get into that argument)

2023-09-12 05:17:33 +0000 UTCEpisode 5 always throws me for a loop bc yes, you and the chat are all absolutely correct, this was one of the best performances of the entire show and it's one of my absolute faves from SKZ overall. I.N. crying and Chan's "When have you grown so big, I can't even give you a hug now" are like a knife to my heart while melting with love for Channie and SKZ in general at the same time ugh, this ep really leaves me reeling every time. All 3 performaces (ATEEZ, BTOB, and SKZ) were top notch, but the experts placing SKZ in last place were doing them damn dirty. Anyways,,, glad you agree with the rest of us lol. Also, unrelated, but big YES to Han probably having ADHD lmao, I honestly don't even doubt it bc it's so obvious hbavbdjkbak

They could have just announced in the first episode "we all know who has the largest fandom here and that fans votes matter the most so, congrats to skz, anyways back to starting the show..." like I love them but they could do nothing and still win so mnet stirring shit up is almost understandable, even if it sucks.

2023-09-03 06:46:37 +0000 UTCI think part of the problem is that mnet already had a bad reputation from their previous reality shows and the controversies they went through, and this gave fans a sense that the possibilty of the show being rigged wasn't that much of a crazy thing to consider. Even though I'm not a fan of the conspiracy theories, I do think the experts ranks didn't make much sense to me, but that's no excuse to attack the other artists and fandoms involved.

Stray Kids were doing so well in every ranking category and we all know they will do continue doing great in the future performances. I think fandoms just get salty when their fav group ranks lower so they make assumptions that are probably not true

At the time, fans were so outraged that there was a huge demand to reveal the so-called “experts” who voted, which is why many think that the experts never existed in the first place and were only scrounged up at the last minute when viewers demanded it. That Skz didn’t make it to the top 3 was a crime and this episode still breaks my heart. At least this episode is over now and we get some really good stages and fun events from now on.

If you ask one fan they'll say "this group got special treatment and my group got super mistreated" but then if you ask another fan they'll say it was the other way around... I love Stray Kids and personally would not have ranked them 6th here, but I feel like people go over the top with the conspiracy theories. If you want to talk about fairness, the global vote also gives Stray Kids an unfair advantage so the whole thing was never really going to be an objective ranking anyway. I just try to enjoy the performances and interactions and ignore the ranking.

From the anarchy symbol, the opening speech, to the flyers. Their first few performances were pirate theme because those songs are from the Treasure era and now they've foreshadowed a future era.

Stay had many theories about it too, since the child was wearing a necklace with the 8th ring, they thought he represents Hyunjin, so SKZ might be trying to show us how much they want Hyunjin to be allowed to return to the group.

Mnet is notoriously known for manipulating results to suit them (for example, changing award rules during a competition or ongoing vote, but that's beside the point). Even I, a declared Atiny have to agree that the results for this round were super unfair. In my personal opinion, Stray Kids and Ateez were the best performers, respectively, with BTOB in 3rd place. At least we're nearing my favorite part of this cursed show—unit performances! I can't wait for you to react to them and all the interactions. Stray Kids and Ateez are soulmates; you all can argue with the wall.

What I could recommend if you are farther on the albums (World EP 1 which came out last year) from Ateez to watch this performance again. Would not have Stray Kids ranked like that either. But I actually, and I am a Stay, would have wanted that they stick to one system. Fans or Experts but when it comes to Fans different groups have different amounts of fans. Not sure how fair this is because on the other hand the rank on groups also got lower because of global votes. At the end we know who wins but it still bad if they place 6th or 5th in a round :*( but
