Dev Log July 1st: Random Events and Stats

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since my last update, but I'm happy to share some of the progress we've made on Spring Time Island

One area that required significant rework is our in-game guide. Originally, it was a bit convoluted, but I realized that we needed something more intuitive and easy to follow. So, I decided to adopt a system inspired by some of the Persona titles: three core stats - Strength, Knowledge, and Charm.

These stats will now influence your interactions with characters, the choices you make, and even the random events that occur throughout your journey. Speaking of which...

Random Events

I've added a new feature that introduces unexpected events into your gameplay experience. These can be anything from stumbling upon a hidden book in the library, falling asleep and having a vivid dream, or even just playing a visual novel in-game to increase your charm stat.

These random events aim to add a layer of realism and unpredictability to your journey, making each play-through unique and more engaging. I'm really excited about this addition and think it will greatly enhance the overall experience.
