Beach trip report!! :)

Hello everyone! 

Sorry for the delay to write this post, I got really sick last days and the fever made it hard to do the most basic things - including speaking understable languages. It was just a little virus I caught, some of my friends in Paris got the same, but now we all feel better and are ready for more cosplay journeys, yay!! (I'll write about Japan Expo SOON!!)

So!! The beach trip! :) 

As you know I left for a week in the south, to visit my grandma and do some photoshoots in lovely places by the sea - it turned out to be a mildly good plan, as I'm about to tell y'all. 

Before I start, here are some more previews from the photoshoots we did! 

So! First thing is, the travel was long, so we only had 3 full days to do photoshoots. It's not too much, especially when you find yourself far away from home: Anything can happen, and it impacts you time very heavily. Every day, we had to take the boat, which happened to be quite time consuming - And we found out that the last boat to go back to our apartment was pretty early, which was bad because during the day 1) the light is super harsh and not the best to take photos 2) The beach is crowded, like, really really crowded 3) We couldn't plan that but it was very, very hot and our skins burning no matter what amount of sunscreen we were using. (Bonus: Mosquitoes also attacked us by night >_>) 

It quickly appeared to us that shooting sexy content would be challenging if not impossible, and that we'd be limited as for the costumes/outfits we'd shoot aswell. We already had to bring all the photo material with us on the boat, plus all the sunscreen, contacts/make up stuff, props and all...

In the end, we managed to do some fun and nice photoshoots, even if not as many as planned: 

- A cute duo with Soalianna, herself as ZeroTwo and myself as Ichigo from Darling in the Franxx in the swimsuits they wear in the beach episode of the anime. I also have few solos of my Ichigo, and a lot of selfies! 

- Bikini pictures of Miku! 

- Selfies of Rei and Asuka from Evangelion. (Swimsuit) 

- Pictures and videos of Maeryll with the IRO comics that I need to send to the author. That's my favorite thing from the whole trip to be honest! The pics look great and the video will be super nice for sure!! 

- An erocosplay set of Yuna I'm not really happy with. The light was harsh on me, my costume is all handmade by me but I had few bad surprises, I'm not happy with the way I cut my wig (I need to improve it to make it look better on my face...) and few other things. I really have high expectations of this set, so I'll probably shoot an other set once I'm done improving my cosplay. I'll try to get the pics ready for August! Of course, I'll also edit some of the pictures done at the beach. You'll just get more ;) 

- And I shot a little video of my feet in the sea since it's a common request haha (It's super relaxing tho, I'll get it ready for July!), I'll do more videos later with more various themes, but I'm super happy with the new video material I got before leaving!! :D

Overall, it was a great time with my friends, and I'm very happy with some of the work we've done there, like the Miku pictures, the duo with Soa, and the Maeryll stuff. 

Now I'll work even harder to get tons of sets done this summer :) I've many cosplays I made this year that are still waiting for photoshoots, and I should be able to do them in July and August! ♥

I can't wait to show you :)
