Pokemon fans?

As you may know I'm a huge fan of Pokemon! It really helped me making friends when I was just a small child. I was already the "nerd" type of person at 8, and it gave me a lot of trouble at school. Other kids were harassing me at some point, and my situation at home only made it harder. Fantasy books and creative activities like drawing were my escape from this sad reality, and the Pokemon buzz with the card game helped me socializing. It wasn't perfect, but it helped me a lot having a better time in primary school! This is why Pokemon is still very dear to me years after :)

Still playing pokemon to this day. Sword and Shield has it's ups and downs, but Soul Silver is still my favorite.
2020-07-10 00:58:46 +0000 UTCWhere I lived we didn't really play the game as it's supposed to be played, we used to put the cards on a wall, and shoot them with a small rock. You'd bet a certain amount of cards, and if you managed to have the card falling with your rock, you'd earn all the cards. Trading was very popular too :)

2017-08-03 21:41:54 +0000 UTCI remember this set. It was very cute! (I admit I loved the Koffing on the wall, he'll always be my favorite evolution line) It's always important to socialize as a kid so it's great you did that through Pokemon!
