It's almost 2020 - let's do this already!

I’ve hmm’d and haaa’d over starting a real blog and youtube for months. 

WHY HAVEN’T I JUST DONE IT ALREADY?!?!!?

Oh right, here’s why……

1. I’m insecure about my writing. I write how I speak, not in type of professional capacity and I’m really insecure about that. (Thanks best friend who’s a freaking amazing writer. JK)
2. I have a hard time making videos because again, I think they need to be super professional. So often I’m at my office and I’m scared about background noise which I find it super hard to get away from and most of the time I’m just in my comfies. Maybe I just need to get over it though and START!
3. I’m worried about creating things consistently. You hear it all the time that consistency is key on social media which for me turned into this mountain. I felt like I had to have so many ideas and I plan and a schedule. That turned my I don’t know where to start to a non start. And while that may be best for algorithms and junk, THIS GIRL HAS A JOB! And is an artist. So, maybe these blogs and vlogs will just get made when they get made. 

If I know one thing’s that things will NEVER be perfect. So waiting for them to be is a waste of time. It’s true that I have a lot on my plate currently however, this has also been at the top of my mind for months and if it’s ever going to get done I just need to start!

So, it’s decided. This is going to be a thing. 

A blog? A Vlog? Let’s just go with both. 

It’s currently 3am and I just wrote notes or talking points which I’ll use tomorrow to either write or film something. Topics are: “Things That Changed My Life for the Better in 2019” and “Goals for 2020”. Those are trending topics right now but after the year I’ve had I think they are really worth talking about for me.
