Poll for the Next Theme
Added 2024-01-06 13:30:01 +0000 UTCHi everyone, after a long time, we shall be making a poll to decide what our main thematic focus will be for the next month or two. We shall be returning to some parts of our world and lore we have already visited and want to expand on, we will be also revising stats and repainting art of some of our older brews. But we primarily want to expand these themes and give you much more to play with.
And with that said, here are the four possible Themes you can choose from:
Legacy of the Forefathers
Venture into the cold and unforgiving North, where the old cruel gods and their traditions still hold meaning. The barbarian clans battle for survival in this harsh land, having long forgotten the secrets and knowledge of their great ancestors and their glorious kingdom. But the winds of change blow once more, and what was once lost may be found again.
A theme from the harsh northern lands, filled with barbarian warriors, shamanistic practices and ruins of a lost titanic civilisation.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seeds of Corruption
It is such a quiet thing, to fall. to succumb to the voice in your head telling you to let go. To drown yourself in the sea of insanity. To become like a wild animal, tearing others from limb to limb just to satisfy your urges. To stop resisting the true purpose of your insignificant mortal soul. Enter the eldritch nightmare of madness and fear, and find that insanity and knowledge often go hand in hand.
A theme about the corruptive influence of the eldritch powers known as the Diluvians, and their ability to sow madness and horror among mortals.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Protectors of the Merry
The realm of the halfling is a land of peace and merriment, many of them live their entire life unbothered by the woes and horrors of the outside world. But how did such a culture ever manage to survive, how do they protect themselves against those who would take advantage of their hospitable nature? Well it would seem there are hidden forces unbeknownst to the halflings that keep watch over their realm. Beings and powers both malevolent and benign that have it in their own interest to keep others from interfering with the business of the halflings. Are you ready to unearth the secrets of the halfling land and risk ire of the powers that be?
A halfling-based theme that will be heavily influenced by slavic folklore and culture. Expect some jolly halfling village stuff along with nature spirits and folklorish beings.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of Mauls and Manners
Rumours have been spreading about intelligent and sophisticated ogres, well-dressed and well-spoken, interested in high culture, crafts and arcane traditions. Despite the somewhat bizarre nature of these rumours, we believe that these claims might be worth looking into.
Because the idea of an organised group of ogres or other giantfolk equipped with both overwhelming physical power and academic or arcane knowledge, able and willing to try and educate other dim-witted ogres and potentially even SUCCEED is frightening. But I’m sure something like that can’t ever be truth, can it?
An ogre-based theme about a bunch of ogres trying (and sometimes failing) to try and introduce their kind to the secrets of higher culture and arcane and academic knowledge. Expect a lot of mauls, top-hats and monocles.

Also we shall be trying out a new thing for our monsters, something we call Tiered Monsters. What it means basically, is instead of a single statblock, each one of our monsters will be released with 3 statblocks with 3 different CRs and with similar yet progresivelly more powerful and complex mechanics. So for monstrous monsters, they might come in the Young/Adult/Mature versions, for humanoid creatures it might be something like Minion/Lieutenant/Captain, or whatever works. The statblocks of these monsters will be made to complement each other, so that they might work together as a team to further challenge your players and give you more options how to use our monsters in your own encounters.
