Added 2024-09-22 17:07:40 +0000 UTCHey my friend I know what got us banned off of Etsy. It was a mixture of Naruto, bleach, dbz, ghost face, SpongeBob and avatar the last air bender.
Even tho it is sad we lost our Etsy store. We now have the information to move forward and to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again
I am currently building us a website so hopefully we will be back up to normal
From my understanding the reason we got removed was because I got to many violations too fast. If these were more spaced out we would have been okay
I got 6 violations in 3 months. Plus I got a few more before that. So i guess that’s the problem with making too many models🤪
So what about warhammer then? I don’t know as of right now. I might make it Patreon exclusive or I might not make it ever again. I know that they like to get ppl to stop(which I have no problem with, just don’t take down my stores) but I don’t know what to do as of right now
That said all the war hammer stuff that we made so far will stay up and we might even release the shield and larger armor now. We will just do so by being very discreet

2024-09-22 18:58:19 +0000 UTCThis makes sense— Paramount (owner of Avatar, Scream, and Spongebob) pays a pretty vicious AI that scans through Etsy and Amazon for any IP infringement. I put your Blue Spirit mask up for sale, and it got taken down pretty quickly, and I heard of someone who got their Etsy taken down by this AI for using the Star Trek FONT on its T-Shirts. Its probable the anime right holders use the same or similar AI. I believe you should be fine keeping this stuff on Patreon behind a paywall, same with a website. From what I understand the AI is limited to popular shopping websites.

GW mainly hits creators who make direct proxies of their miniatures, it's very rare that they go after prop makers. I really hope you continue to make props of Warhammer items, your work is absolutely sublime! It would be a tragedy to lose any future ideas you might've had for it. Either way, I still hope for your good fortune, and success in whatever course you choose to pursue!

If not, start etsy back up and use it to funnel traffic to your own website with a digital 10% all purchases coupon in every folder.

I still got my wolverin up and other marvel mask idk how hahah

As a big warhammer fan I would love to see you do more work in that universe. If you are gonna do more, maybe keep it patreon exclusive. That tends to keep the evil overlords off creators backs as long as the work isn't too public.
