Unused Character Design - Vintovka
Added 2017-03-24 19:41:54 +0000 UTCThis was a very early concept design for a character named Vintovka, who works for "Death Widow," a private military contractor.
She was originally going to appear in the original, unused plot line for Chapter 2 of Danger Zone One. But the story's premise changed and her character was dropped.

Mechanica takes place around 50 years prior to the events of Danger Zone One. So, while Vintovka won't be showing up in future pages of DZ1, the private military company she worked for just might...hint, hint.
It's hard to see in this sketch, but the emblem on Vintovka's beret is a skull with eight arachnid-like legs protruding from it and, on it's forehead, the hour-glass shaped marking indicative of the black widow spider...hence the company's name, "Death Widow".
