Yusuke’s character development really shines here for me. He’s really trying to think through his emotions and I honestly really appreciate that. The best part was the ending, despite how much Yusuke wants to deal with his ancestor he is not going to just go with anyone without asking the important questions 👊🏼
Kuroko and her kids are a TRIP btw 🤣

Honestly feel like this arc is a hidden gem. There’s so much I could say about it but I’ll save all that for the end. I appreciate how much you’re recognizing Yusuke’s growth as a character psychologically as opposed to just power level. Also, absolutely love his relationship with Genkai. He has technically surpassed her but he still turns to her and trusts in her words because she means so much to him. She was his first true mentor. Two standard shonen troupes handled in surprisingly uncommon ways in this series.
