Travel Diary#01

Foreword:

Even if technically this is not the first time I've written a travel log/diary entry……I have to admit I'm not really good at this, and basically this is just a talk about the pictures!(……)

I'm not really sure if anyone would be interested to read this……but as an experiment, this is my first trilingual FANBOX entry.

My cameras are Sony DSC-RX100M5 and iPhone 8.

So let's get down to business.

Anyways, I planned this vacation months before, but upon departure, I peeked at the forecast and I was really bummed to know it's going to rain the entire time.

My first stop, Yokohama!I was here last year for Mikusymphony, so it was pretty much just a sort of revisiting.

Cosmo Clock 21 is as beautiful as always.

The lovely Bashamichi road!

But the Red Brick Warehouse kinda reminds me of Scarlet Devil Mansion, with a horror movie like effect(lol)

Because of the alluring Yokohama nightscape,we stayed out till midnight, that day my step count was 20k+.

Then we went to Enoshima.

This isn't my first time in Enoshima, and it rained for days(……)but nonetheless I had fun!

(why I'm already writing the conclusion of the journey……)

Maybe it's because of the weather, later that day the beach was empty, the feeling of having a whole beach just for me lifted my rainy mood.

My proudest shot at the beach!

The typical shot of Enoshima nightscape.

I must say, I did not expect the cold temperature, who would've known that the Japanese seaside in July would be so cold……

So after taking enough photos we decided to head back to the hotel(*sigh*)

But then on the way back we unexpectedly ran into a festival parade!

Finally a picture worth showing……Because of the excitement and the whole moving crowd, so many photographs got either shaky and/or blurry XD

So we followed the parade for a while and arrived at a temple.

Even to this day I don't know what festival it was. orz

But it was just so fascinating to experience such a magical event, I was talking to my friends how all of this feels like a scene in the movie 《Spirited away》.

The next day we went to Enoshima Aquarium, it was very crowded even by the entrance……

I thought I took a very nice picture but my friends kept saying that this girl is casting a spell(lol)

Jellyfish! Everyone likes them~

Sure they're beautiful creatures but so hard to capture on camera.

Just the moment we were leaving, I saw this and the jellyfish version medal is too cute for me to handle!!!(take my money.gif)

The crepe I bought before arriving at Enoshima dentetsusen is seriously very tasty.

The program for the last night of this trip was……to play Call of Cthulhu at the homestay! The campaign we played is also sea themed, 《Horror On The Ferry》.

When we were testing the dice tower I immediately got a fumble on the first try.

(Warning: Cthulhu inside)

I wanted to draw something along the trip but in the end I took more photos than sketches……

I'll compile those sketches and post them in a few days!

thank for this

Ahh, so beautiful! Really happy you had a nice trip. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it but I feel like your pictures and your art have the same vibe in style and "highlighting"! For example in the Enoshima beach shot and the Enoshima nightscape, I feel like this could be something you could have drawn just as well! ♡ Thanks for posting in english, I loved reading the travel log.

I love the photos, they are very pretty! Can't wait for the sketches compilation too (*´∀`*)
