Well said! I am on episode 11 or 12 and it's been a lot of fun seeing how much material there actually was to work with. I am also seeing personality differences with Zoro and Usopp 😆

One thing that really impressed me with the live action adaptation was how they were able to blend together multiple scenes from the anime into one setting without it feeling too forced. They had a lot of runtime constraints so the fact that they even attempted to include small things like the little girl/rice ball scene was a real testament to how much the showrunners care about the source material. Even some scenes that they omitted still had cameos of characters from those scenes appearing briefly in other contexts. Also Luffy - yes he is more blunt and less endearing in the way that he is in live action, but has his own charm that maybe wouldn't have translated well to live action? There are definite personality differences between anime Luffy and live action Luffy, and same goes for all of the crew members.
