2022-08-02 01:52:27 +0000 UTCI think the translation may be a bit off, I am going to guess the original Spanish uses abuelo in all those places which literally means grandfather, but I think it is also culturally used as a term of respect to refer to a nice old man (who you are not related to). I'm not sure what English stand in for that usage would be especially in context to the sentences it is used in.
