Paizuri University - Chapter 1~!!!

Hey y’all,

We’re super excited to bring you Chapter 1 (Part 1) of Paizuri University, the Bigger & Bouncier Remake (v0.2.0).

June 6th, 2025 - Patch release 0.2.2 now available in link above!

And with this release, the Paizuri University Bigger & Bouncier Prologue (v0.1.3) is now available to all Backstage Patrons.

There have been some teething issues in our production process that we’ve uncovered and learned from these past two months, coming up with some approaches we can take to smooth out some of the friction.

We’re also testing out using the odd months for opportunities to patch issues and update works-in-progress where it makes sense to (see Schedule above). For example, releasing an update at the start of June to Stagehands Patrons, with updates to the art and bugs fixes in the Memento Engine.

This will mean Stagehands will get a release every month (content + patch), while Backstage will get more completed previous releases every 2 months.

But for now, here’s what you can expect in Paizuri University Chapter 1 (Part 1)~!

v0.2.0

Fully rewritten Chapter 1 (Part 1), ending after Evelyn’s Choices.
4x New Scenery Backgrounds
4x New CG Scenes (Rough WIPs)
Placeholders for Character Avatars (Rough WIPs)
New Sounds.
New Music.
Scenery is now unlockable in the Gallery.
General fixes and optimizations.

Known Issues

Resolution Changes still aren’t updating the UI correctly. It is recommended to restart the game after changing the resolution to avoid any weirdness for now.
Recent improvements to dialogue Skipping is causing some assets to not Unload correctly. It has been temporarily patched to minimise crashes (it could still crash), but the game could become unstable so “skip” with caution.
