Getting back to it~!

Hey y’all,

After a whole week of dumpster fires, we’ve been talking through all the issues that have been happening now, and the ones coming in the future.

If you’re not aware of what’s happening right now, we recommend this video by Asmongold, who sums up the whole situation in a well thought out and concise manner.

With the Payment Processor and ID problems that are likely to affect everyone, it’s going to be some time before we see the full impact of all this.

But we want to persevere, and keep going as far as we can go, even if that future is uncertain.

So we’ll be continuing to move at a steady pace, growing and building up our Patreon an action at a time. We’ll also be making a more concerted effort to make our work public, which is something we were going to focus on over the coming months.

But we’ll also be working on something in the background outside of this space (less engine, more of a game), to help minimize the impact of changes and restrictions that are likely to disrupt NSFW content.

We want to be upfront about this because it’s likely to impact our decisions and schedule going forwards. Our hope is that if all else fails, we can fall back onto something that can help keep what we do going.

Releases will always take priority over development posts. And any delays will be communicated ahead of time.

Due to delays caused by this past week (and our recovery from it), the Patch release for this month will be skipped since the differences from last release are not substantial enough for a patch release.

The next release for Paizuri University is coming next month (early September), and it will have the first part of Chapter 2, along with new and updated art and story. The draft of Chapter 3 will also be released this weekend.

We don’t often ask, but if you enjoy what we create and would like to help us, your support going forwards matters more than ever. So if you’re not already a Patron, now’s a good time to become one.

Questions and thoughts are welcome in the comments.

Thanks everyone.
