Her story is really fun. She was a thief who got caught stealing from the Mafia, so they chopped her up into multiple pieces. However, the item she stole was a magic artifact called the Life Gem, and she swallowed it when she got caught. The magic of the gem kept her alive, and even though she is dismembered into multiple parts, she can detach and pull herself back together at will.
