Yes, AI will certainly be USED, it's never going away, but its main application will eventually only be in cheap commercial use. Industrialisation has never diluted the value of human-made art. If you want an example; look at garden ornaments. Concrete, mould-cast replicas of classic sculpture. There's a reason they have a dinky price tag and the originals are SLIGHTLY more valued.

AI Art isn't art, and will never replace web comics, but it _is_ fun. I use it to send weird images to friends pertaining to what we're talking about.
