Hearing that Lucas is asexual and thinking to yourself that he doesn’t know what he wants, undermines his thoughts, feelings, and understanding of himself. If they aren’t romantically attracted to anyone, that shouldn’t be an invitation to try and change their mind. That can cause strains on any friendship with that person moving forward.
