OMG the subscription was worth it. I REALLY HOPE that Jack gets better and heals.

Swolver

Thanks for your comment and bless you

Ya es hora de sanar

Lucas Bellu

You did this perfectly ❤️ I’m a sexual assault survivor and I was a little worried how the subject would be handled in the comic, but this is beautiful :’)

FurtivematicA

Marcus is going to keep studying psychology to keep helping Jack

yinller

I feel you there I only remember the stuff cause of my one teacher, made me make connections to the material to stuff I enjoy Leads me down some interesting hyper fixations

Wreckers7

Thanks so much for your words

yinller

Hugs * btw I study social work in my college XD I even can’t remember the half of it

yinller

True. The process has only just started. Treatment is absolutely necessary in order to prevent a regression.

Sorzin_Shadewalker

The social worker in me is going nuts I love how you handled this page so much ;-;

Wreckers7

On a side note. aaaah, our boy is healing. I'm so happy he snapped out of it. But this is just the start of the actual process. I do hope you don't write it off as a 'he feels better now, moving on' but keep it a point to mention he stays in therapy for a good while longer. But knowing your way of telling stories, it'll be a point long after.

LivelyLayla

I just adore how you did this. I've been in therapy most of my life (not for abuse, thankfully, unless you count bullying) And the fact that it's so personal and private was portrayed perfectly here. It's also worth noting I think that writing this is extremely difficult and there's such a high chance of doing it wrong had you put in words that this is honestly testament to your skill as a storyteller.

LivelyLayla

It was a wise choice not to show the dialogue. This also shows that Jack's mind is healing.

Sorzin_Shadewalker

Es entendible, le da mas profundidad a lo que ellos estan haciendo (una secion de terapia)

NekoMaty

Thanks 😊

I immediately realized why there was no dialogue (or more accurately, I assumed and was proven right with your explanation) and at least for me, that makes this comic so much more powerful. We don't need to know exactly how it happened to know that it happened. And we don't need to know the dialogue to know that this is very difficult and emotional for Jack, amongst other things. And even without the dialogue the body language (to me at least) points towards the therapy doing something for Jack at the end there. Maybe even something positive, in so far as that goes. I will say that that is coming from an aroace person who never (thankfully) has had to deal with such a monstrous act and I realize my experience will not be everyone's experience for a myriad of reasons.

Baree

Thanks so much

Es un tema muy difícil y delicado. Pero te mando un abrazo

yinller

Is the first This is not his first therapy

yinller

Hahahaha

yinller

This is very beautiful

Nebula

It's a nice touch that you didn't include dialog. Your expressions tell the story very well.

Lee Evergreen

Genuinely effective to communicate in 2 languages at once

Ziggy

I love the google translate screenshot😂😂

Ziggy

Is this the first instance of jack being normal again? Or did I miss a page?

Flux Y.

Porita_Anny

It is such a relief seeing him come out of that shut down state. I know that it will desperately hurt but he could heal this way. The smile at the end had me in tears.

Taylor Raven Razz

I really like how you didn't show the dialogue, therapy is something very personal. Well done, the expressions say enough for both of them
