Kat of Mars - Process - Part 1

I liked it so much; I'm tidying it up.

2021-01-26 21:45:15 +0000 UTCJohn Carter (Of Mars) was a problem. Filmetto does a good dissection of what went wrong with the movie. It's biggest problem was that it had three false starts to the story before it starts for real 15-20 minutes into the movie. Also, they down played the Mars bit and focused on the "John Carter" when the book it was based on was "A Princess of Mars". Not the first attempt at making a Barsoom movie, Bob Clampett worked on some preliminary design for the Harman-Ising Studio at Warner Brothers in 1931. Sadly, it went nowhere.
