Important Our Life News
Added 2020-08-27 19:12:51 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I've got a bit of news about the development of Our Life. That family emergency where I had to suddenly leave and some difficulties that are still there since then have impacted the progress of the game getting done.
We don't plan on pushing the release date back.
But, what is likely gonna happen is that on November 2nd, 2020 we'll release the complete free base version, the DLC for new Step 1 Moments, and the DLC for more Step 2 Moments. The DLC for additional Step 3 Moments will probably release late, but likely not by too long. The main concern is that the quality of the more polished and complete pieces will be marred by a potentially rushed and buggy Step 3 DLC. Still, just those three parts will be around 400,000 words all together, so there will definitely be plenty to enjoy on launch.
I'm very sorry for another delay of sorts. Hopefully when it all shakes out in November the parts that do release will really show how much time/effort we're putting into every piece of the game. We'll do our best!
And we will also still continue to release Patreon beta builds of Our Life content even after the initial release for those who don't want to wait for the future DLCs and don't mind playing not fully polished versions of them, ahah.
Thank you as always for the support ❤

2020-08-28 21:59:08 +0000 UTCFamily first always! We all understand that and are behind you all the way. Lets face it, 2020 sucks and probably doesnt deserve OL anyway. I'll keep supporting you all the same, atleast until the bank account runs empty. My wife is still recovering from Covid, and still cant get a release to go back to work. Add to that the governments cut in benefits, her company ending her FMLA (the same company she was working at as a RN, and where she caught the stupid virus) and well I'd say 2020 couldnt get much worse, but I wont jinx us like that. Please look after yourselves and your loved ones. In the End we really dont have anyone else.
