As the MC you'll obviously get to choose, and for Cove there are six "feels" the outfit can end up with based on what you pick for it and he'll have a different response based on which feel it is (all positive, of course), so that's pretty neat.
The MC can get their clothes at the suit shop too if they want. The dress BG was just used to show off both places. And of course, you can go shopping without him if you want to keep the outfits a surprise. There's plenty of approaches to take with your shopping adventure. Too many, honestly. This whole section took forever to write and program, my gosh, haha.

Probably. You can chose if you want to go with him or not so there's a chance that you can also chose to invite people close to you/currently in the city or maybe they will automatically be there without the chance of chosing and Cove is the only one you can chose to bring or not, after all it is kinda obligatory for the family to be there when chosing the clothes for the wedding, while instead the spouse is the one who can either come with you or not depending on if you are fine with them seeing what you will wear before the wedding. We just need to wait the DLC and see.
