Our Life: Step 4 Story Selection Screen
Added 2022-07-08 18:01:01 +0000 UTCSince we're adding DLCs that allow you to have a totally different Step 4 experience, there needed to be a way to decide which version you got. That's where this new selection screen comes in!
If you've met the requirements for Derek's and/or Baxter's story than instead of automatically going to the Cove-centered epilogue like how things currently work, you'll get to choose your story.
Owning the Derek and/or Baxter DLC isn't the only requirement to unlock their version of Step 4, though. In order to play the side boy's story, you must have seen all five of their Moments prior to Step 4. You don't have to make specific decisions within those Moments, you just have to experience them. It's okay not to accept the deal with Derek, it's okay to be dating Cove, you can still do whatever you want as long as you're not skipping full parts of the story.
But it's very exiting that we're almost to the point where this screen is needed because the another story is getting close to completion β¨

I think Cove and Baxter would be the same. they never want anything other than happiness for the MC
