Month Beginning Post: August 2022

It's the final full month of summer (in the Northern Hemisphere)! And this time I'm not having to make the update from out of a hotel room, so that's a plus, haha.

The July progress breakdown was posted HERE! With that, we can get into everything that'll hopefully be coming this month.

Monthly Content Plans:

It's still Derek time. It will continue to be Derek time until that DLC is complete. I am gonna complete that overall draft for sure this month, I'll finish or almost finish the script, and most of it will be programmed and released to testers. But I'm not really picturing the DLC launching publicly in August. I don't think that'll leave enough time to properly test and polish it all, so I won't be upset if there's still work to do in early September. However, unless something terrible happens, the DLC is gonna release before summer is technically over (the last day is September 21st in the northern hemisphere). 

All the new voiced lines that have been coming in should be implemented over the next few weeks. The last pieces of art will likely be completed in August as well. And I'll finally launch the Coming Soon page for the Derek DLC. 

Our Life: Now & Forever won't have any script work done again. However, the artists and lead programmer will continue their lovely efforts on the game. We'll be able to share more Step 3 side character designs. But September will be the month when Qiu and Tamarack Step 3 come along. I think that's fitting, since that's when fall begins (for Oregon where the game is set anyway).
