Our Life: Now & Forever Prologue Beta Build 0.06 🖤 (PC, Mac, Android)
Added 2022-10-22 19:38:10 +0000 UTCIt's time to meet the boy's club! The boy's club that turns out to have one single boy member, haha. Qiu and Renee don't identify as male when they're older. But hey, it's possible for the MC to join and if they're a boy they can bring that ratio up. And if they're not, it's an even more hilariously wrong description.
Unfortunately, this build doesn't have all of the recent MC doll clothing/accessory batches I posted previews of. It was getting late in the month and I wanted people to be able to play the new scenes. They'll be there next time!
[The build name is the same as before, but it is a new file]
New Content:
- 16,000 words of new scenes
- MC doll eyebrows matching your chosen hair color
- Earrings as a new accessory option, along with some other new MC doll pieces
- The option to take a full screenshot of your MC
- One new music track to hear and unlock in the music room
Man, it's exciting to finally see the other kids around town. They're both precious. I hope you'll enjoy getting to know them a little better!

2022-10-26 17:41:26 +0000 UTCMy MC has a bit of a tsundere streak going on (crushing on Qiu but doesn't want to admit it) and I think it's so amusing seeing her act slightly jealous with Qiu's popularity and how he does nice things for everyone lmaooo She doesn't know how to feel about Ren but thinks Baxter is handsome and funny I actually wasn't expecting for the topic of our dad to be brought up which I ended up enjoying and hope that's something we'll come across again when we're older?? I imagine my MC still being curious about it

2022-10-25 23:22:27 +0000 UTCI saw this so much and I was like, I'm so sorry~😭 but not so sorry~👀 I find this detail very interesting, it adds life to the game, but I really want to be friends with mini Baxter… 😅 it may contradict my way of being, because in general friendship comes first and if I just have a little crush on someone, but my friend too, I would be more likely to leave her place.🤷♀️

One nice little detail that i loved is the different reactions Qiu gets when calling the MC pretty: We got Ren totally surprised which only added to the charming scene but it didn’t get lost on me how Baxter tiny smirk disappeared then and there… I was like “Oooooh yet another hint of his crush on Autumn?”

I can't wait for more cute scenes between my OC and Qiu 🥺 it's going to be so hard to be patient but I know it'll be worth it!

My MC is a shy kid but she agrees to join the club because she appreciates Qiu's effort😊. And I had so much fun comparing Friends/Crush Qiu's reaction to MC's favorite color. He is such a adorable charmer.

I smiled and laughed so much while watching the new scenes unfold :'). When Qiu gave my mc the compliment my heart almost stopped for a second! It was SO CUTE!! <33 And the way Baxter pretended to be Ren's voice was hilarious too! It was such a Baxter thing to do!

2022-10-24 01:57:29 +0000 UTCAnd I'm back after playing! It was such a great update, and I loved meeting Ren and of course my all time favorite Baxter! I wondered how my MC would feel about them and... well, Ren and my MC were both so uneasy it was a sad sight haha! But since neither of them was too forward, my MC took a liking to both. It's funny how my MC has the least affinity for Tamarack because he's intimidated by her, to say plainly. He doesn't dislike her, but sometimes he doesn't know how to act about her. Also, I really really liked all the conversation about my MC not looking like his mom, and the whole talk about the dad. Since the start, I imagined my MC as being sad because he doesn't have a father, and the ensuing situation here was very interesting. I was sad to make Tamarack feel so bad to be honest, but I also feel like it was very enlightening to her on the long term? Anyway, all of that to say that as usual I just love these games, and I'm having so much fun making my MC the total opposite of OL1's MC! That one was bold and brave and perfectly at ease with his family and the fact he doesn't have a father, only two mothers, or with the fact he didn't know his birth family. Yet, he came to see Cliff as his father, which was a totally unexpected thing to him. This MC on the other hand is shy and a scaredy cat (for now!) and he's always been sad at not having a father, but I also don't think he'd be able to actually see an "unrelated" person as a father figure. Probably because of that specific longing for his "actual" father. Aand now I'm rambling about my MCs, so I'll stop now. Thank you for the update again!

2022-10-23 23:11:43 +0000 UTCOne possible response to the club invitation is, “I don’t like boys who don’t like girls.” I don’t know if it’s a gender locked or personality locked response but so far I haven’t been able to get it with a girl MC and I think it’d be a very appropriate response for a girl MC.

There were a few things I noticed though, when Qiu was talking to his club about the MC he said “[MC name] are pretty” and not “is pretty” and then there was another moment with Darren when he hid in his vest, I don’t remember which option I chose but it only happened when I chose that one, it repeated the line “The main part of his face that was visible was his eyes….” Except one ended in “sad” and the other in “hopefull”

Qiu's reaction to MC's favorite color was funny, depending on MC picked a color Tama was wearing or not. I also never would have guessed why Baxter's favorites are his favorites but now I know lol.

You can change this by goingto Start > Settings > Select Apps & Features > Choose the dropdown from "Choose where to get my apps" and select, Anywhere. You can always change this after downloading and installing the Beta.
