Our Life 2: Baumann House Hallway (Sketch)
Added 2022-12-10 19:01:00 +0000 UTCWe're getting a second location in Tamarack's home! I'm happy about that. This is another thing I want to be different in OL2. I don't want houses to consist of a living room and a bedroom, in the MC's place or for the two main leads' homes.
Having separate BGs for halls, kitchens, and other places adds a lot in feeling like you're existing in a location, in my opinion anyway. It just wasn't an option for the first OL because the scope for that game was already so much bigger than our prior projects. But with more experience and funding, it is possible now!
And this happens to be the final brand-new location that will appear in the prologue. It's all coming together and before we know it, it'll be time to make the actual Moments for Step 1 ✨

I get so excited every time I see posts about the homes cause it brings me closer and closer to being able to recreate these houses in the sims
