I’m so happy that the Kickstarter has been such a success! I’m looking forward to beta for OL2 from here forward! I’m still totally gone for Baxter so I have a couple of questions (if you are willing): (1) How does Baxter maintain that stage 3 hair? Does he manage re-dyeing that intricate striping himself? Does he have to have a stylist do it frequently? (2) You said that Baxter starts his one night stands a couple of years into high school. Does that end up gaining him a bad reputation?

Hi, this is a question about OL2, so I understand if you can't answer it. My question is: In OL1 you could pick how Cove looked. I know Qiu and Tamarack have different looks that will be connected to their personalities but will you the player also have the option between steps to choose their look like we did with Cove. Either way, very excited for the game. Loved the demo.

Hey GB! My question is about how you keep the things important or in the mind with the time gaps of four years. You can have all these lovely moments in step 1, bonding and being close, crushing on each other and it’s all only in fall. We still have the other seasons and then four full years. Of course as players it feels fine we get to see the moments and live them, and they stay fresh in our memories. But do you have an idea how it works for Qiu and Tamarack? For them they would have lived those years. Maybe they’ll be bits of dialogue kind of detailing some significant events between steps perhaps.

In OL1, it was possible to tell your cousin Lee that you had a crush on someone you know from school if you don't have a crush on any of the male leads. In OL2, if we don't plan to date either of the neighbors, will we have an opportunity to say that we are crushing on or dating someone? Do Qiu and Tamarack have a preference on the surname their spouse takes or are they pretty much like the other OL LI's and are flexible? Also, do either of them prefer to play a big part in the wedding planning or are both relatively laid back like Cove? At what time did Tamarack get her glasses (between Stage 1 & 2)? Did Omi and Opa bring her to an optometrist or was it her parents during the times they came by to visit? When I went into 9th Grade, I had problems with seeing writing on the blackboard at a distance, so I had to try to get as close to it as I can to read it. It wasn't until I got my driver's licence that I learned that I needed to wear glasses because I was nearsighted. When Tamarack kept on wanting to get a closer look at people, it reminded me of my problem by the time I got my glasses. My eyesight was so poor, that I needed the glasses just to see the detail of another person's face.

I’m so excited 😭 I wanted to understand a bit more about step 2 Qiu and whether or not they’re the rebellious type. the idea that them and the mc (and possibly tamarack getting dragged along) getting into unfortunate situations due to their antics is really funny to me. but I’m also curious to know the type of rebellious they’d be. is it the normal kind, like swearing, slamming their door, skipping school and arguing with their parents? and then, much more simple, do qiu and tamarack dislike/hate eachother if they’re both jealous over the MC?

I see MC can have all types of different feelings on it, so I wonder how Opal felt. Did she ever worry that MC might come to resent her for choosing a sperm donor? Was she afraid of what those around her would think? And how did those around her actually react?

Specifically a second lobe piercing? - In the step 2 prologue preview for OL2, there is a question asking if we are a rule follower still or if we're now the opposite. If we chose that we are the opposite does that mean we never follow the rules or we only follow certain ones and don't for others? - I was hoping to learn more about Opal and her relationship with her family if possible. Such as are they in contact? Do they have a good relationship or not? - If 17 and 19 year old Baxter could see who Baxter at 24 has become in terms of independence, accepting his emotions, no longer running away and having a serious relationship with no time limits or conditions, how would they react? -I know cove was pretty shy when the MC and him almost kissed and then actually kissed. Although, as time went on it was something that he wasn't shy about. Can we expect Qiu to be the same way or will he be more forward and comfortable with those things from the start? - In OL1 Cove and the MC would sneak to each others houses and that was their thing. Hi! Our Life has really inspired me in realizing what type of games I love to play and in turn change how I've developed my own games. Thus, my question is how do you balance giving the player a variety of choices (personality and action) vs making sure the story stays somewhat linear? I know in OF sometimes it gives another scene or skips the scene entirely, but most moments keep to one theme/event so do you have any tips about this?

Why does Baxter seem to have an easier time deciding to rekindle his friendship with the mc in Cove's wedding story than in his own Step 4? I know we have some opportunity to organically develop the relationship within the scene (I.e. neighbors to friends) as well as manually between steps. My question (or questions I guess) are, can we “step down” organically within a scene? And could we “jump” rather than “step”? So could they jump from “neighbors to crush” within a scene or go from “crush to best friends” within a scene? And finally, will there be only one "progression chance" per Step?

I wanna start off by saying how much I love the stories GB Patch puts out and you guys have quickly become my favourite VN developers! I appreciate you so much and thank you for the memories your amazing games have created! My question is, what made you decide to give some of your characters unnatural hair colors? Cove of course comes to mind, with his green hair making him stand out, was that the sole reason? Or do you simply prefer designing characters with "cooler" hair colors haha Once again thank you for all the work and love you out into your games!
