OL2: Road Concept Art Sketches

Version B is the one that made it into the game! It liked the tall fence around the near house, which is Ren's by the way, and the balance between the houses/woods.

I would be anxious about cars and other vehicles but I bet Golden Grove doesn't have busy roads! I love the winding road too, gives the sense that the roads goes a very long way.
