2023-05-17 05:02:33 +0000 UTCYeah same. I think it had to have happened off screen. Episodes dedicated to Dagur and his changing personality would be problematic for 3 reasons: 1.) It wouldn't focus on the main plot points like Viggo etc 2.) It would be very boring to watch after a couple of episodes 3.) It would take away from the central characters (the riders) The thing this show does well is that it's paced in a way that they cover a lot without making it overwhelming and hard to follow. All credits due to the writers, they skip on aspects that aren't really needed and focus on key points

He’s so deranged and the switch seems almost impossible but alas, this episode shows possibilities for growth and change even though we all know, dagger has several mental problems👌

But trust me for the last episode of this season (Part 1 of the two parter) you'll have an urge to watch the 2nd part right away even though it's the first episode of the new season. I guess we'll see when we get there lol.

Probably because of something where dagurs very obvious and strong mental disabilities wouldn’t allow such a change…I personally think his redemption arc works. They spread it out well over a few episodes…

Also a heads up for the last episode of this season, episode 13 is actually part 1 of the 2 parter and part 2 is the first episode of the next season. And it's quite damn good as well. No where near as good as season 5 of rtte but still fantastic Personal favourite episodes: - Bullalord Soldier - Tone Death - Family on the Edge (REALLY REALLY good episode) - And ofc the 2 parter but that was kinda obvious And a heads up about the new intro. It is a new intro but it just features new dragons that we've already seen before. They can't really spoil the future dragons because that takes all the fun out of it.
