This episode has the only continuity error that I could find throughout the entire series which is amazing. Snotlout is supposed to be with Heather. But it showed him with the gang when they found dagur. I couldn't find any other continuity errors though which is cool

2023-05-26 14:28:37 +0000 UTCThe last scene is a masterpiece in writing. Everything down to the colour grading, the mood, the tone, hell even the music. Did you notice they used an altered version of stoick's ship when Dagur went into battle? Like for a character who's been evil 90% of the time on screen they wrote him in such a way that we are literally brought to tears at his noble sacrifice. In just a single episode. That's S++++++ tier writing. Phenomenal episode. Easily the best in the season and one of the best in the ENTIRE series. Also there is a small continuity error in this episode. In the moment where the other riders discover Dagur in the forest you see that Snotlout's actually in the frame when he's supposed to be with Heather. A small error. There's only 1 more error like this in the entire series. Also Hiccup's line about trusting Dagur because Toothless trusted Dagur. That says so much about their relationship. It's so damn powerful. Like that line in itself is a 10/10 line because it adds so much depth to his character and relationship with Toothless Also your reaction to Dagur's suicide mission... yeah that was everyone. Disbelief, grief. I could see that you looked so heartbroken and devastated during that last scene. Not sure how close you were to tears but my eyes sure watered up.
