They did smt similar in the first movie with the Red Death. The scene where Toothless and Hiccup were flying through its tail in the final battle, for that sequence they had to scale up the size of the Dragon's Tail because in reality the 2 are no where near that small or the dragon wasn't that big. But literally no one has ever noticed that I think. I only knew it bcs I saw it mentioned in a comment somewhere lol
