2023-07-11 15:47:36 +0000 UTCI really enjoy the movie personally. The humans were done better than all the humans in the bayfilms because you could feel genuine character connections and growth. Transformations were awesome and refreshing to see since we saw less and less in the final two bayfilms. Fights between the two factions were great because you felt the struggle for victory like in the First and Third transformers Bayfilms and not a clean sweep victory making the enemies feel like annoying bugs to kill. I understand people's feelings about the plot being generic and then I realize that very Transformers movie from the 90s to now has had the same generic plot of save the world from the Decepticons or Unicorn essentially. I do hope that they make a third film and have it focused on the Decepticons entirely which would IMO hook people attention more. There are stories that have a continuous story of the "Save the Day/World" that are done well like the Harry Potter Movies for example. If they use that formula for transformers I think it would be a good for its image so that it's story could feel grander than what it already is, in my honest opinion.

2023-07-11 15:17:36 +0000 UTCRanking it amongst the Transformers films yeah it's an 8/10. But as a film overall there's just better conceived stories. Personally the first transformers film is a favourite id give it a 8.5/10. But the plot is just too generic. 2 pieces of a key to recover, auto bots on one side, deceptions on the other, human helps autobots. I gave my rating compared to ALL movies. An 8/10 movie for me would be the Mario Movie. A unique world with unique characters, very fun (but slightly generic plot). In this movie all we kinda see is what we've seen b4 but slightly different.

2023-07-11 15:09:30 +0000 UTCMovie is quite mid imo. CGI as always is exceptionally good. I feel like the story was just too generic and very empty. And the fact that the entire world is at stake is just boring at this point because it was also at stake every other movie. But it had a better plot than the other transformers movie so that's a win. I'd give it a 6.5/10
