It’s a series of shorts that fill any plot holes and sets you up for the setting of season 10. It’s not 100% necessary, but if you don’t watch it, you’ll go into season 10 like “wtf is going on”.

They get new animators so it doesn't look as good as season 8-10 (it does get better as the seasons go on) and the show becomes way more immature and childish and a really light tone but after season 11 the goes back to how it was pre season 8 and crystallised is probably the last darkest season in the after the oni trilogy

2023-08-05 20:36:50 +0000 UTCI will say that this was one heck of a roller coaster and I love Ninjago season 9, especially when we get to see the entire gang back together again and sensei Wu dragon armor, which I hope we see again, and love the battle between Brother and son against Garmadon and I said the exact same thing, the bigger they are the bigger they fall, it was such an amazing scene, and the ending gave me a little worried because I had the same feeling episodes ago,”What happened to the Oni”, but for now, at least they have some peace, and from the looks of it, the monasteries being rebuilt, which caught me off guard, but I really do like to see their old home again, those shorts were interesting to watch and all in all,this was a great season and I love the reaction.
