In my neck of the woods, fall is beginning. Before too long the leaves are gonna turn orange and yellow and brown. It's the season of OL2. And, of course, Our Life: Now & Forever is what we're working on here at GB Patch Games.
To see last month's progress, you can read yesterday's HERE! And now this is what I'll be doing in September.
Monthly Content Plans:
I'll finish writing the Step 2 prologue for sure, that'll take up a good portion of the month. Like Step 1, this prologue is veeery lengthy, aha. When I do have that wrapped up, I'll begin planning the actual Moments for the Step. Hopefully, I'll be able to draft at least one. Player suggestions and sensitivity reader feedback will be worked on as well.
A special beta is going to come out in the coming weeks. The Step 2 preview will be updated to have more content! I want the public demo to have more Step 2 scenes this year, but beta testers have to get it first. So, the Step 1 programming will be paused to focus on some teenage shenanigans.
I want to try hiring a community manager this month and having them get started. We'll see if everything can be worked out that soon, though.
September is also my birthday month. I'll be taking an extra day off to celebrate ๐

And that's mainly it! There's other business stuff to do, and I might start preparing for other job openings, but the game development work will be pretty straightforward. We'll do our best to get a lot done. Thank you for coming by to check in on our progress๐
