Going out with friends and not worrying about “being childish” was so much fun!! And to this day I’ll never pass up an opportunity to dress up as my favorite characters, even if I’m just handing out candy now :)

Qiu comfortable planning their future together because they've known each other almost their whole lives. MC is still someone Qiu just met. Of course, in the present Qiu is happy to include MC. Qiu simply won't decide you'll be there for every holiday in the future.

I also noticed that Qiu did not include the MC in the future Halloween plans with Darren and Baxter. (Whether this was more of a neutral/neighbour dialogue or that Qiu doesn't think the MC wants to hang out with them?)

2024-10-13 18:15:27 +0000 UTCEven when they’re ‘closer’ as younger kids, you can see almost every way where their priorities and beliefs divert from one another. And I think when you’re that age/growing up those differences can feel much bigger than they actually are. They’re always as big as you make them. When you’re not determined to hold onto something, or you already think you’re gonna lose it, it’s much easier to let it go. Even without the help of an MC who wants everyone to be friends, something tells me they’re still the kind of people who can come back together. They just need to go through those growing pains first <3 Even when I’ve played the whole demo so far these kids are on my mind like every other day lol
