OL2: Beta Build 1.4.14 ๐ช (PC, Mac, Android)

Home is super large and has a lot of complicated branches/alterations. The amount of content in this beta would normally be enough to be full new Moment, twice as much as normal. For Home, that much work is still not quite enough to finish it off. And last month we already included part of Part 1! This is a final hurdle before we're at the true end of Step 1 and we did our best.

Screenshots can't be posted, videos can't be uploaded, even discussing what occurs in the events publicly is not allowed and will get your access to future builds revoked.
You can do all of those things within the private GB Patch Discord server or leave your feedback as a comment.

And since we've had some problems in the past with so many people downloading beta builds that they get locked out by Google Drive, I've uploaded mirror builds! If the first ones listed don't work, you can try these.

Or you can bypass the quota by logging in to a Google Drive account, then on the file's download page, click "Add shortcut to Drive" in the upper right corner. Save it to your Drive, then create a new folder, put it inside, and download the folder!
Save files from the prior beta should work in this beta!

I really love OL2 beta! I moved around a lot as a child, but I never had the chance to meet someone like Q/T, so I'm grateful that OL2 allowed me to experience a different life. I really enjoy Hide and Seek, cause it helps me understand myself better, even though it's not as pleasant as other Moments. Because I moved around so much, I often feel uneasy, anxious and uncertain about my surroundings lacking a sense of control. Since I never knew what was coming next, as a child, I could be thrown into a new environment at any time, having to adapt to new relationships, schools and environments while adults around me couldn't always take care of me. And everyone else in the new environment already has their own groups. Trying to fit in would only make things more awkward. So just like Tamarack, I also felt more like a visitor. T and my MC share many similarities, especially since she had just arrived too which made me feel less abandoned. And Qiu, a very popular local with high EQ who happens to be my crush who helped ease my anxiety significantly by mediating. Both of them matter a lot to me. So when they argued with each other, I didn't want to choose especially when one was my best friend and the other was my crush. Losing either one of them was absolutely unacceptable for me. So when the conflict reached its peak, when T made it clear she wouldn't accept any compromise, my MC panicked and ran away. This feeling is incredibly real yet I loved it very much. But I also loved how it ends. When the three of us embraced, I felt a sense of security and a part of me has been healed. Even though we argue, our friendship isn't that fragile. As long as you're with someone important to you, conflicts can also become precious memories. I'm not a native speaker so please forgive me if some words don't quite convey what they're supposed to mean. In summary, thank you for making such a wonderful game.

My mother had sole custody and left for work at 4am every morning, so I was responsible for getting up and getting to school on time since second grade, when I graduated out of the "Real Kids Club". Keep up the good work.

2025-04-09 04:40:47 +0000 UTCI noticed that there isn't any nonverbal options for only wanting to go over to QIu or Tamarack's temporarily. You can say out loud that you'll go with them only until Opal gets home but all the nonverbal options are about staying there forever.
