Have you visited South Korea before?
Added 2023-02-21 20:05:13 +0000 UTCI fell in love with k-pop in 2017, but I have yet to visit South Korea or go to a Blackpink concert. I’ve tried to tell myself it’s all good cause I’ve sent fans to concerts & a friend to South Korea. It just feels like I’m failing or my content is getting repetitive when I know I’m capable of so much more bruh. I make beats, write songs & I can talk my ass off. I’ve gotta give you guys more diverse content. I live with PD from Form of Therapy & he’s getting ready to move there. I’m going to make it a point to visit for a month and put together the best content I’ve ever made on the Dezzy Daily channel. I have so many crazy ass ideas y’all. I’ll give y’all one even though I’m not sure if it’ll work, but look.. a free pop-up Korean Chicken + Waffles stand. I’m gonna bridge the gap between Koreans & African Americans because a lot of us don’t know how much we have in common. There’s so many people I wanna talk to on camera and so much I wanna learn. I’m all the way ready for a culture shock. I’ve booked 2 trips already and couldn’t make it because of passport issues, but I have all the right documents now so it’s fuggin go time. I’m not gonna keep missing out cause if I’m this dissatisfied then I can’t imagine how you guys feel. That’s why your support means everything to me. That shit literally keeps me going y’all. I’m gonna do better.

I have been wanting to go since my son re-introduced me to K-Pop back in 2015. I am in the process of reaching out to small entertainment companies to establish mental health programs to trainees then move up to the larger companies. Things are definitely opening up and healing from the blows COVID dealt, so the energy for people carving out a path here is good. My wife went to South Korea three years in a row and she never fails to come back with some great ideas or inspiration after visiting. This goes for any country honestly. We aren’t trees; we should see this beautiful world and much as we can.

I see it like this, those times when you wanted to go to South Korea and it didn't work out is because it wasn't your time yet. Now that you have everything figured out and your roommate is moving there, this is the sign that you should go there. I believe you can truly flourish there. Make this year your year.
