Large Lesson To Learn - Chapter 1 (NEW LONG TERM!!!)

Large Lesson To Learn

Summary:

A guy inherits a huge company. His father was the former owner, but he passed away. Now, he´s alone in his journey to learn how to handle the company. Well, not entirely alone…

He also “inherited” an assistant. She´s his father´s right hand. A woman who´s worked hard to get to where she is. And who thought she´d be the one controlling the company, not this 26-year-old who seems not to have any work experience, at all. And now, he owns the company?!!!

Is she mad? Oh, she´s furious! But she´ll work her way to the top, as she always has…

He relies on her for basically… everything. She feels more like a babysitter than an assistant. Does she hate it? Very much. Will she allow this? Well… she´s got a plan.

He´ll slowly shrink, unaware. However, she´ll also grow. Why? How? Well, let´s just say it´s related to the milk that magically appears on his fridge, together with the rest of the food.

He now lives at his father´s mansion. And who frequently visits? His new assistant. A woman who´ll slowly grow into a sexy, gigantic milf!

“No wonder why you´re this way. You never had a maternal figure. But don´t worry. I´ll run the company, and also, I´ll take care of you…” She´s not going to be as sweet as he thinks. She´ll gain full control, but she won´t leave him alone.

Will he learn to run the company? Will she bring him back to his normal size?

Tags: Slow Shrink, Slow Growth, Breastfeeding, slightly maternal but strict. Some mild humiliation.

Chapter 1

The sky, unknown for so many. Not the term, not the color or the awareness of the existence of it. But to be in the sky. Only birds know how it feels to fly and feel the wind against their bodies, but people have actually flown.

Most have done it the safe way, in an airplane. A flying vehicle designed to transport people from one side of the world to the other within a short time. Or from one estate to the other.

And there’s a large variety of airplanes. We’re going to focus on the commercial ones. The ones meant to transport a large group of people. However, within the same plane, there’s also different categories. Economic, executive, and the highest of them all, first class.

We’re now on an airplane from a well-known company. But we´re not going to speak about all passengers, but about one in particular. A man who’s in first class. Surrounded with special attention, a seat that resembles a couch. With so much leg room he could even lie down as if he was in a bed. Actually, the seat becomes a bed for large flights. Or in case the passenger´s feeling tired.

This was not a particularly long flight, it was from one side of the country to the other. Just a few hours. Now, let’s talk about this man.

He’s young, 25-years-old, his name is Lewis, Lewis Langford. The only inheritor to one of the largest companies in the country. A company that’s grown over the past decades, which was created noa little over thirty-years ago. LF Inc.

This company pretty much has a part in everything. Through time, it has grown and partnered, or acquired, other companies. From electronics to botanics, they have a very ample variety of products.

The owner, and founder, Nicholas Langford said: “A man can’t really own the world, but wouldn’t it be good to have a bit of everything?” He had the idea that he should be able to provide the public with everything they might need. A light bulb? Sure, you can find one from the LF-Lights brand. Shoes? Who wouldn't want their own clothing brand? At LF.Clothing Co. you can find all kinds of shoes; running, boots, snickers, heels, sandals, just name it and it´ll be there!

A brand of frozen foods, hardware, electronics, cleaning supplies. All under the LF logo! This brand can be found all over the world! Which means, it’s a very profitable one.

Now, Lewis is sitting on his first-class seat, sleeping. Why? Because this man was born rich. He’s never had to work hard for anything in his life. That was his father's job. He worked hard to create his brand, and he worked hard to make it grow into the big company it is today.

He worked so hard, and Lewis does not resemble him, not at all. Except for the eye-color. and maybe the height? His father was 6´, and he was taller, standing at 6´3”. Plus, Lewis has a lot of his mother's looks. She used to be a model before she married his father, she was a miss-something every year since she finished highschool. Up until the day they met.

Lewis was tall, handsome and rich. He truly thought he was any woman´s dream, that any lady would be lucky to have him. Therefore, he was kind of a deuce with women. Thinking he was a casanova, a womanizer, a player.

His life was simple. Wake up, have everything done by a housekeeper, everything cooked by a chef, and everything paid by daddy. He’s never worked a single day in his life. In fact, he didn't even finish college. He signed up, there was no need for an exam since his father was one of the main private donors. Something Mr. Langford did in order to guarantee his children would have a place at the most reputable college in the country.

Lewis had a very easy pass, and just as easily, he got expelled. Turns out, you have to actually work in order to pass. He failed in all of the subjects. Not even a full semester passed before he gave up.

But why would he care? He’s rich. During the time, the very few months, he was at college, LF Inc’s actions grew twenty-percent, and they acquired three other companies. A construction one, a real-estate one and a small insurance one. Was Mr. Langford thinking on properties? Yes, he was.

During the time Lewis was supposed to be at college, he designed, developed and sold various neighborhoods in the world. Sustainable ones, economic and they could produce part of the energy they consume. He was a good man, as good as Lewis was arrogant.

Mr. Langford was born in a humble family, he worked hard to make his way to where he was. He understood what people need, knows what the city needs. He knows there's a way to make expensive things cheaper. Not all, but at least the ones used in daily life.

Lewis, on the other hand, was born rich. His net worth was already six-digits when he was just a baby. So, what did he understand? What was the perception he had of the world in his mind? Poor people work. As easy as that. If you´re not rich, sorry for you, but he doesn’t have the need to work as his money just keeps growing.

But, it's not his money, right? That’s his father’s money. He worked hard to earn it, he owns the company, he’s owner of approximately 75-percent of the company’s total net-worth. And at least 35-percent of all other partnered companies’ earnings.

Lewis is just living out of daddy’s money. Getting whatever he asks for, he even owns actions for the company. A gift from his father on his birthday. And they now sum up to 1-percent of the company’s value. In a company that’s worth as much as LF Inc does, he owns hundreds of millions right now.

Of course, he won’t have access to that money until he sells some of the actions. So those are just “his savings” as if he could ever save money.

Lewis doesn’t know the value of money. He has no idea how much it costs to actually earn money. He spends thousands just on the weekend, partying. Monthly, he spends dozens of thousands, and that’s not taking in mind food or services like electricity. That’s just based on his “lifestyle”, an expensive, unsustainable and toxic lifestyle.

But, why can't Mr. Langford say no to him? Why can't he control his expenses? Simple, guilt. He's been away on business for most of his life. And after his mother passed away, he was left alone. The only son of a very rich man. Only the two of them, that’s the only family they have. But even that comes to an end.

Why is Lewis on a plane? Where is he going? This is sad but he's on his way to his father’s hometown, to take on the company since his father has passed away.

It was so sudden, so unexpected, no one really saw it coming. His heart sank on his chest when he was given the news by his father´s assistant.

He was not as much of a jerk to appear at his father’s funeral drunk, or to scream and complain about why they had taken his life at such an age. Mr. Langford was 59-years-old, not an old man yet. He was devastated, and also anxious about giving a speech. What can he say?

He was brief, explaining how good of a father he was and that he will be missed. By his employees, by the company, by the clients, but specially by him.

A lot of people stared at him for those last words. He’s going to miss him? He barely visited his father; one would think that an unemployed rich guy has a very open schedule to meet his father, the ONLY family he had left. But he was too busy getting drunk at some beach party to remember the real world. And some others just thought he was going to miss the man because he pays for everything.

People were shocked when they learned Lewis was taking on the company. Why would Mr. Langford do this? Was he insane?

Probably, he thought he was going to inherit the company later on in life. And that, by that time, Lewis was going to be capable of running the company. But he knew better, so he had a whole team in charge of the company. However, Lewis’s vote does have as much weight as his father’s did. Therefore, he’s able to make decisions for the company.

That’s right, a man who’s never worked in his life and has no idea of how the market works or how the real world does. But everyone's going to make sure he doesn’t mess up.

The company’s board is counting on Lewis not coming to the office and letting them take care of the company. So that he doesn't mess things up.

Now, Lewis is on his way to his father’s house. The place where he’s going to live from now on.

A humble mansion. Well, not humble at all, it's quite big, very big. Why would he, a simple man deep inside, want such a huge place? With a pool, a garage for over ten cars, five guest rooms, a kitchen fit for a top chef, a dining room as big as a theater´s room? Well, simple, to give people a job.

He always liked to give people a chance, a job. That’s why he has such a big place, so that everyone who asks him for a job can help him out. Not because he wants to have a lot of employees, but because he wants everyone to have a chance to have a job.

“Mr. Langford, the plane will land within fifteen minutes.” Said a flight attendant as she shook Lewis’s shoulder.

“Huh?” This was a special request of his. He knows he's a heavy sleeper sometimes, and last night he had little to no rest. “Thanks…” he added.

His mind was full of thoughts. What is he going to do? Does he have to give a speech on his first day? What’s it like to work? Some people start at the bottom, but he's now the owner. Directly to the top of the top, that´s not something he minds, but he would´ve appreciated some knowledge on what he has to do.

Maybe he should've taken that internship his father offered him when he turned twenty-one. He told him he could work with him so that he could learn, but he said he wanted to have a sabbatical year. As if he was not in one the year before, or the one before. And that “one” year became another four.

Now, it was too late. He's going to have to learn as he goes. Which is dangerous, so he’s only going to be there, but what is he going to do? Hopefully no one asks him for advice on something that could bring the company out of business. But it was unlikely.

His father’s assistant will take care of him. She´s now going to become his assistant. He couldn´t meet her at the funeral, but she's going to pick him up at the airport. To make sure to take him straight to the mansion, and ensure he won’t get “lost”.  So that he doesn't make his way to some club, doesn’t try to flirt with some ladies, so that he doesn’t mess up.

Yes, he’s an irresponsible 25-year-old man. But what would you expect? He’s never been given a responsibility in his life. Not for his studies, not for his work-life, not even with a couple. He’s had a different girlfriend every year since he turned nine-teen. And in-between, he hooked up with random ladies at the club. He was the opposite to his father, but he was still his son.

And he was still on his way to own a huge company… was this a good idea?

Lewis was not his usual self, he spent most of his flight sleeping; during that time he had visions of the company, of his father, of knowing he was not the one for the job, still… he was the boss now.

Does he lack confidence? No, he's just aware he’s not the best for this job. Does he need motivation? Sure, he’s never taken any responsibility for anything in his life; in fact, there’s a time when he lost a car. Yes! A car! He forgot where he parked it and since he was not parked on a street but close to the beach, it was lost.

He's feeling nostalgic, sad, gloomy. But he’s also made up his mind, for the first time in his life, he’s going to try! He’s going to make an effort, he’s going to be a good boss!

But… How good can he be? He can’t just change in one night, not even in a whole year. How good of a boss can he be if he’s a spoiled man? Let’s say things as they are, he’s the worst person to take the charge, however… it’s his right to do so…

The plane landed and he walked out of the airline. With a guy pushing a special car with his luggage in it. He stepped out, wearing his expensive clothes.

He was slim, but trimmed. An athletic build he’s worked on, but not because of health, but because of looks. Tall, trimmed men pull out more women. Charisma? Why would he need that if he has looks? And if that's not enough, he’s got the power of money.

He turned at his watch and checked on the hour. Where 's the limo? He’s not a patient man, not when he’s alone at least. He began to tap his foot on the floor as he felt a bit anxious. Why does he need to wait? People should wait for him, not the other way around.

After waiting for an eternity, which in reality was about five minutes, he pulled out his phone and called.

“Where is this woman…?” He grunted as he dialed his father’s assistant number.

“Hello? Yeah, I’ve been waiting here for a while, why are you guys so late?” He asked.

“Sorry, dear, but we’re not late. We’ve been waiting for you at the exit. Are you at exit B?” she asked.

“Exit B?” he replied.

“Yes, there’s multiple exits at the airport. Remember, it’s a big airport, this places usually have multiple entrances and exits…” she didn’t want to sound sarcastic, but she didn’t disguise her annoyance fully, still he didn’t detect her annoyance.

Lewis was too busy looking for the exit’s tag. He was on Exit A.

“It seems I’m at exit A… you can come to pick me up here, I´ll be waiting.” He said, arrogant, and not apologetic.

“Sure, it’s on the other side of the airport, but we´ll come find you.” She replied, her fingers clenching on the phone as she spoke.

“Ok, but hurry up, I’m getting hungry.” He added.

“Was there no food on the plane?” she asked, and then she gave instructions to the driver. “I thought they had top chefs cooking for the first class passengers…”

“Yeah, but I don’t like to eat on airplanes. I’d hate to need to use those bathrooms…” God forbids he has to put his “royal” butt somewhere anyone else already has.

“We'll pick you up in a minute.” she added, and then, without any explanation, he hung up. “Not even bye? How rude…” She’s trying to be patient, but he’s not going to make it easy.

This woman’s name is Lauren, or Mrs. Fields, she’s been Mr. Langford’s assistant since the beginning. She thought he was going to put her, his right hand, in charge of the company, but she wouldn’t mind it if he didn’t. However, she does mind that he picked Lewis as the new boss. He’s… dumb.

Spoiled, irresponsible, why would Mr. Langford, such a smart man, put Lewis as the new head of the company?

As the car was moving, Mrs. Fields turned out the window and looked at the sky.

“Why, Nick, why did you choose him?” Does he really want to give everything to his son? Was he drunk when he made that decision? Is this some sort of lesson? Well, if this is a lesson, it won’t be nice for the rest of the people.

She just sighed and turned back at her phone. The screen-saver, a picture of her and Mr. Langford at the office’s Christmas party. He was dressed as Santa, a man as jolly as he was. He was a radiant man, people were always happy to see him. To her, he was more than the boss, he was a friend, a life-long friend who´s departure was devastating. He was a leader, a good friend, a good man. Sadly, she can't say the same about meeting Lewis.

“I hope you were right. But don’t worry, I’ll make sure to take care of the company. And sure to teach him the lessons you couldn’t…” she sounded a bit too serious with the last sentence.

“Did you say something, Mrs. Fields?” The driver asked.

“Oh, no! Sorry, hehe. Just… It was just a song I had on my mind.” she replied.

“I get it, it’s hard not to sing some songs out loud, right? Haha!” She nodded.

What was she saying? As an assistant, it makes sense she’s going to take care of the company. Her job was to assist, to give advice, to make sure the boss was at his best and giving his best. This time, the boss is not Mr. Langford, not a man everyone thought was perfect. This time, it’s his son…

Lewis, a 25-year-old who was born with a silver spoon in hand. Spoiled, arrogant, if only there was something of his father in him.

But Lauren’s not going to play just the role of the nanny here. She’s not going to let Lewis ruin everything Mr. Langford has worked for. She’s not going to fix his mess and just wait for him to make a new one, he’s going to learn, the easy way or the hard way…
