A potential friend for the MC, they're a human studying the strange occurrences around town. They're a secluded person, whose deeply introverted. They appear in every book, potentially growing closer with the MC.

They are romanceable in Book 3.

D has dirty blond hair that is short in book 1 but has grown shaggy and past their eyes by book three. There's a faint beauty mark on their bottom lip, only seen if they would ever pouting. D has very soft brown eyes, almost calf like in appearance. They have the stature of someone who used to be quite built, but have since then become somewhat scrawny. They also seem somewhat sickly, but they only confide in Starling about what ails them.

Deeply academic and intelligent, they have a soft curiosity about the world around them, and seem somewhat sheltered. Soft spoken but always mindful, they seem like the most sincere person that you could ever meet in South Hollow.
