TA: L Rawlins tidbits

Anon asks: Are there any L tidbits that either won’t show up till way later or couldn’t fit in that you wanna talk about rn? (Sorry I’m obsessed with the sad doggo dilf)

well, their best friend is Riley, and is their beta that helps run the pack. they were dads together, raised kids together, etc etc. Still very very close and the Witch gets to interact with Riley a bit later on, which I'm looking forward to! Hands down, one of my favourite characters to write.

L found it hard to bond with E due to their age gap. It's only due to cub E INSISTING on being best friends, tagging after them, did they be come as close as they did. L adores E for it.

Even with a strained relationship, L looks out for E. Even in a love triangle, they refuse to ever leave them by themselves.

They want to be closer to their kid, they do, but ever since he left to make their own pack, their communications have slowed way down.

Their spouse was a fellow werewolf and was supposed to live to a very gray and very old age with L, and their death was a surprise. It's why L hasn't taken another lover since.

If their spouse was alive today, L, even if incredibly attracted and gets along great with the Witch, would mentally put them in "this is my kid" category in their head. Takes on a parental role and even hints that the Witch could maybe see if they're compatible with L's kid, or E, wanting them to join the pack after a while. They're not a cheater, they'd never stray.

Secretly reads romance novels which they hid in their desk drawers with a lock. No one is allowed to know. Which is strange because they don't feel like they're a romantic. They're a realist and a pragmatist, and they do think that they'd never rely on love. In fact, with their spouse, they were friends who decided to get married. They read them because sometimes they do want a pick me up and enjoys the feel good stories of being in love.
