He was up front with yu jin from the start about exactly what the paradise date was. That being said, it did nothing for yu jin. Aside from just being a fun time. Yu jin had just said she was secretly hoping someone would pick a rin so she could have alone time with dong ho back in inferno. So deep voice taking her to paradise, all that did was waste her time that she wanted to spend with dong ho.

And I'd put money on a producer telling Theo to come out at that exact time. The timing was too perfect or man was staring at nothing and they just edited that way. Also, if you noticed, Sian actually wasn't jealous of Jeongsu during the double date, it was more that she wanted Junseo to act as sweet as Jeongsu towards her. I feel like Sian has strong feelings for Yuk and is now in that stage where she's trying to mold him into her ideal man (which idk if it's possible but they agreed they would both try harder so we'll see). I think it was a clear sign during both helicopter ride where she was obviously leaning towards Junseo and was not trying to entertain Jeongsu at despite what the producers hoped.

2025-02-07 06:56:35 +0000 UTCThe editing is something else in this episode. I found this on Reddit. Check out the glass of coke in the dinner scene with Sian and Junseo. It disappears in and out of scenes. Yep, they spliced scenes out of order to create more tension. Not something you can see on one viewing but along with the double date, this was such a heavily produced episode. Look, I know why they are doing this cause they want to keep the suspense up of who she picks at the end. It's nothing new in the sense that the trailers and previews are similiarily misleading. Just a reminder to not take everything at face value and that the creator controls what they want you to see or not see. For ex., the scene in episode 7 when Theo comes out of him room and sees Sian and Junseo leaving for paradise is either staged or edited. How does he know the exact time to come out of his room to catch them leaving? Probably a producer told him or maybe they spliced two shots to make it seem like it happened. Of course it could be just perfect timing but who knows. The detective work on reddit is so much fun and no Sian and Junseo did not come out of left field. I know you guys are tired of them and yes for me they are the only couple that I have a rooting interest in all seasons of the show. I'm drawn to unexpected couples. Despite the editing, watching their scenes again starting from ep 3 and it all adds up. Sian shows interest first then Junseo becomes more proactive. Then when Sian finds out that Junseo is interested in her, she becomes more proactive. I've gone too long but there are so many scenes that have a different context when you see them again. It's been fun watching the reactions to single's inferno and 19/20 and can't wait for transit love 2!

This episode was just so over produced that it wasnโt fun to watchโฆ from the helicopter seating arrangement to that horrific double date and the Tehwan date also giving absolutely nothing, it was definitely a throwaway episode but I think everything ties it together in the next episode for me and I think you guys are wrong about Sian liking Jeongsu more.
