I see what you mean tho but i hope you embrace them and their hard work as this is an adaptation so it can't be exactly like the physical descriptions, the novel will always be there in the end.

So hard to knock those images out but I never once said they didn't have the essence correct. In fact, I said they do which has helped a lot with Armand. This show is the best adaptation I've seen. Please don't mistake my remarks for negativity. Just observation and my own personal opinion which, again, has not affected the greatness of the acting.

Isn't getting the essence of the character and the acting performance what makes a good casting? Of course if you base it on appearances it doesn't work because they're all white in the books. Thankfully the iwtv team cares about talent more.

They got his look kinda right with Tom Cruise but got his sensuality dead on in QOTD. I adore Sam as Daniel. He's not 100% but he definitely has the Essence. I'm having to squeeze my brain closed because the books(and with that my image of them plus what they are described as, looking at you Armand, as well as the previous movies.) QOTD got Armand the closest so it holds a special place in my heart for that reason,lol. This Armand looks nothing like he should but he does have the essence as well. The whole show is starting to erase Tom Cruise from my memory, thank fuck.

I'm eating those words, hard. They actually got Louis wrong, obviously. I think he got the essence of Louis whereas Brad Pitt WAS Louis physically, though I'm not complaining. Grey Worm (GOT) is more beautiful than he should be lol. I could go for days on the casting. I'm terrified for this upcoming season. It's the beginning of introducing the cast of thousands. No way in Hell they're getting ALL correct. I'm going to be biting my tongue, a LOT.
