[WOTD] Siri redesign - Part 1: Concept

The redesign process of our “Sirenita” begins!
This first post will serve as a starting point, where I’ll show some references and explain a bit of the logic behind Siri’s original design.

As you already know, Siri is a student at Lionheart Academy and the new captain of the swim team. She is also the first girl (besides Ceina) to discover the truth about Clyde’s fate. As we get to know her, Siri shows simplicity, kindness, and sweetness in her interactions, both with Clyde and the other girls.

Maybe some of you didn’t notice, but Siri gradually becomes a confidante for the other girls (Ceina, Asagi, Rachel, and Alune). This is no coincidence, as Siri has a great ability to empathize with others and manage emotions. Moreover, she is very friendly, patient, and has an open and tolerant mindset.

From almost the beginning of the story, something important about her is explained: Siri has had very few interactions with men throughout her life, which makes her curious about them. Siri has always been more used to receiving orders rather than giving them, which also explains her submissive nature.

Regarding Siri’s appearance, I wanted to reflect a sense of purity and sweetness. Although all the main girls are virgins and inexperienced in love, Siri has the particularity of having had almost no interactions with men in her life, except for her father (which will be explained in more detail in the remake). Clyde is the first man Siri interacts with, and she falls deeply in love with him, influenced by what I mentioned before.

As an expert swimmer, her characteristic color had to be blue or light blue. As you know, the chosen color for her was light blue, so her hair and eye color are also light blue.

As for the ideas for her redesign, I will aim to maintain the purity and innocence that defines her, as well as her hair and eye colors, though I will likely adjust the shades.

I’d like to lengthen her hair and, of course, give it more "style." I have two options in mind, but I prefer the second one.

In terms of her physique, Siri will remain the shortest girl of them all, although she will be taller than Bonnie and Yuri. Regarding her chest size, she will still have small breasts, though not as small as Bonnie’s. However, one change I want to make is to give her a more athletic or defined body, although not as muscular as Asagi’s.

¡Comienza el proceso del rediseño de nuestra "Sirenita"!
Este primer post servirá como punto de partida, donde les mostraré algunas referencias y explicaré un poco la lógica detrás del diseño original de Siri.

Como ya saben, Siri es una estudiante de la Academia Lionheart y la nueva capitana del club de natación. También es la primera chica (sin contar a Ceina) que descubre la verdad sobre el destino de Clyde. A medida que la vamos conociendo, Siri muestra sencillez, amabilidad y dulzura en sus interacciones, tanto con Clyde como con las demás chicas.

Tal vez algunos no lo notaron, pero Siri poco a poco se convierte en la confidente de las otras chicas (Ceina, Asagi, Rachel y Alune). Esto no es casualidad, ya que Siri tiene una gran capacidad para empatizar con los demás y manejar sus emociones. Además, es muy amistosa, paciente y de mentalidad abierta y tolerante.

Desde casi el inicio de la historia, se explica algo muy importante sobre ella: Siri ha tratado con pocos hombres a lo largo de su vida, lo que le genera curiosidad sobre ellos. Siri siempre ha estado más acostumbrada a recibir órdenes que a darlas, lo cual también explica su naturaleza sumisa.

En cuanto al aspecto de Siri, quise reflejar una sensación de pureza y dulzura. Aunque todas las chicas principales son vírgenes e inexpertas en el amor, Siri tiene la particularidad de que no ha tenido prácticamente ninguna interacción con hombres en su vida, salvo con su padre (esto se explicará más en detalle en el remake). Clyde es el primer hombre con quien Siri interactúa, y se enamora perdidamente de él, influenciada por lo que mencioné antes.

Siendo una experta nadadora, el color característico debía ser azul o celeste. Como ya saben, el elegido para ella fue el celeste, por lo que el color de su cabello y ojos también es celeste.

En cuanto a las ideas para su rediseño, buscaré mantener esa pureza e inocencia que la caracteriza, así como los colores de su cabello y ojos, aunque probablemente ajuste las tonalidades.

Me gustaría alargar su cabello y, por supuesto, darle más "estilo". Tengo en mente dos opciones, pero la que más me gusta es la segunda.

En cuanto a su fisionomía, Siri seguirá siendo la chica más bajita de todas, aunque será más alta que Bonnie y Yuri. En cuanto a su busto, seguirá teniendo pechos pequeños, pero no tanto como Bonnie. Sin embargo, un cambio que quiero hacer es darle un cuerpo más atlético o definido, aunque sin llegar a la musculatura de Asagi.
