[WOTD] Ceina redesign - Part 2: Presentation

This is part 2 of the post and the presentation of the redesign of our goddess, Ceina.

As usual, I’d like to start by talking a bit about Ceina’s original design and reviewing her role in the story so far.

Ceina is one of the main girls with the greatest presence in the story, although in the most recent versions, we haven’t had much time to delve into her development. She is the one who introduces us to our mission and eventually becomes the primary source of help and knowledge. However, I recognize that the development of Clyde’s powers and his training has lacked emphasis and depth, something I plan to improve in the future.

I always tried to make her development realistic and detailed, but I know I can do even better. For example, initially, Ceina already knew how to cook, but now it could be Clyde teaching her the basics, allowing her to develop her talent in a more organic and meaningful way.

Additionally, Ceina played an important role in the harem route, encouraging Clyde to connect with more women to enhance his abilities. This will remain the same, but I’d like characters like Siri or Rachel to have a more prominent role in Ceina’s development.

As I mentioned in part 1 of the post, one of the main changes in Ceina’s redesign is her “age.” I now want her to have a more mature appearance that truly reflects her past as a goddess and the almost maternal love she feels toward humanity.

Allow me to present to you the new and majestic Ceina.

As you can see, Ceina now has a more mature, voluptuous, and mystical appearance. I wanted her beauty to be hypnotic, someone who, when you look at her, you feel has a divine touch or a unique spiritual connection.

In terms of her physique, I emphasized giving her a more feminine figure, highlighting her elegance and fertility—a detail I consider important given her nature. I’ve also made improvements to other parts of her body to reflect this change, and here are some comparisons to make it clearer.

Ceina, like Satanichia, will experience significant changes in her personality, especially in Satanichia’s case. For Ceina, her evolution will be more gradual and detailed, allowing us to explore her transition from goddess to human.

We’ll see how she retains her kindness, piety, and inner peace—qualities that will be reflected not only in her actions but also in her dialogues and everyday conversations with Clyde. Ceina will be someone Clyde can reflect with, debate with, and learn from.

Despite these changes, Ceina will continue to be Clyde’s trainer and one of the main advocates of the harem plan alongside Siri. I’d also like the other girls to develop a deeper relationship with her, helping her adapt to human life. For instance, Ceina might start with her hair loose and, thanks to Siri, learn to style it into a ponytail or even a braid.

Ceina will be like a sponge for knowledge, learning quickly and showing an insatiable curiosity. However, she will also be a sea of wisdom and reflection, making her an even more interesting character.

In her role as a cook, Ceina could also show great openness to trying new dishes, desserts, and sweets. (A deity who loves to eat? This reminds me of Bills and Whis from Dragon Ball.)

Her origin story won’t change much, although we’ll discover more about her past as a goddess and her relationship with Satanichia/Yubel as her romantic development progresses.

With this, we could say the main group is now complete. I might add Satanichia in somewhere, although, as the story’s antagonist, I plan to give her a more neutral personality in the remake. But I’ll talk more about that when the time comes for her redesign.

Este es el post parte 2 y la presentación del rediseño de nuestra diosa, Ceina.

Como es costumbre, me gustaría comenzar hablando un poco sobre el diseño original de Ceina y repasar su papel en la historia hasta ahora.

Ceina es una de las chicas principales con mayor presencia en la historia, aunque en las últimas versiones no hemos tenido mucho tiempo para profundizar en su desarrollo. Ella es quien nos introduce a nuestra misión y, eventualmente, se convierte en la principal fuente de ayuda y conocimiento. Sin embargo, reconozco que el desarrollo de los poderes de Clyde y sus entrenamientos ha carecido de énfasis y profundidad, algo que planeo mejorar en el futuro.

Siempre intenté que su desarrollo fuera realista y detallado, pero sé que puedo hacerlo aún mejor. Por ejemplo, inicialmente Ceina ya sabía cocinar, pero ahora podría ser Clyde quien le enseñe lo básico, permitiendo que ella desarrolle su talento de forma más orgánica y significativa.

Además, Ceina jugaba un papel importante en la ruta harem, incentivando a Clyde a relacionarse con más mujeres para potenciar sus habilidades. Esto se mantendrá, pero me gustaría que personajes como Siri o Rachel tengan un papel más destacado en el desarrollo de Ceina.

Como mencioné en el post parte 1, uno de los principales cambios en el rediseño de Ceina es su "edad". Ahora quiero que tenga una apariencia más madura, que refleje realmente su pasado como diosa y el amor casi maternal que siente hacia la humanidad.

Permítanme presentarles a la nueva y majestuosa Ceina.

Como podrán notar, Ceina ahora tiene una apariencia más madura, voluptuosa y mística. Busqué que su belleza fuera hipnótica, alguien a quien al mirar sintieras que posee un toque divino o una conexión espiritual única.

En cuanto a su fisionomía, he hecho énfasis en darle una figura más femenina, resaltando su elegancia y fertilidad, un detalle que considero importante debido a su naturaleza. También realicé mejoras en otras partes de su cuerpo para reflejar este cambio, y aquí les dejo algunas comparativas para que lo vean más claramente.

Ceina, al igual que Satanichia, experimentará cambios significativos en su personalidad, especialmente en el caso de Satanichia. Para Ceina, su evolución será más pausada y detallada, permitiéndonos explorar su transición de diosa a humana.

Podremos ver cómo conserva su amabilidad, piedad y paz interior, características que se reflejarán no solo en sus acciones, sino también en sus diálogos y conversaciones cotidianas con Clyde. Ceina será alguien con quien Clyde podrá reflexionar, debatir y aprender.

A pesar de estos cambios, Ceina continuará siendo la entrenadora de Clyde y una de las principales impulsoras del plan harem, junto a Siri. También me gustaría que las demás chicas desarrollen una relación más profunda con ella, ayudándola a adaptarse a la vida humana. Por ejemplo, Ceina podría comenzar con el cabello suelto y, gracias a Siri, aprender a peinarse, hacerse una coleta o incluso una trenza.

Ceina será como una esponja de conocimiento, aprendiendo rápidamente y mostrando una curiosidad insaciable. Sin embargo, también será un mar de sabiduría y reflexión, lo que la hará un personaje aún más interesante.

Además, en su faceta como cocinera, Ceina podría mostrar una gran apertura hacia probar nuevos platillos, postres y dulces. (¿Una deidad a la que le encanta comer? Esto me recuerda a Bills y Whis de Dragon Ball).

Su historia de origen no cambiará mucho, aunque descubriremos más sobre su pasado como diosa y su relación con Satanichia/Yubel a medida que avancemos en su desarrollo romántico.

Espero que la nueva Ceina les resulte tan encantadora y hermosa como a mí.

Con esto, podríamos decir que el grupo principal ya está completo. Tal vez agregue a Satanichia en alguna parte, aunque, siendo la antagonista de la historia, en el remake planeo darle una personalidad más neutral. Pero ya hablaré más de ello cuando llegue el momento de su rediseño.
