But this one is still season 5 quality goodness. Glory’s name is revealed. We know a little bit more about Joyce’s illness. Spike’s behavior continues to be creepy and hilarious at the same time. Riley 😔 get over yourself.

2025-06-13 12:21:39 +0000 UTCThe trouble with Riley is he wants Buffy to need him the way he wants to be needed, rather than just being there for her in the way that she is asking him to be. I've always liked the concept of Riley, I just don't always like the application of the character.

It’s a very tempting theory because of the timing, we see that Dawn appeared sometime during the day after Buffy defeated Dracula, and Joyce mentioned having a headache in episode 3, so I can see why the timing is really sus, but they’re on record saying that it’s just a brain tumor and not related to having memories jammed into said brain 🤣🤣🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
