Carmine in the City 街のゼイユ(47illustrations)

DLCプレイしました！なんでこんなに時間がないのかと思ったらポケモンスリープのおかげで睡眠時間がナチュラルに増えてたからでした。なので一時的に睡眠時間減らしたら無事DLCできました。ポケモンとポケモンの可処分時間の奪い合い。

ゼイユ、見た目だけだと普通にかわいいなくらいの印象でしたが、DLCやってからはSVで1番好きな女性キャラになりました！プレイしている最中でも印象変わりましたがなんせめっちゃ好きでした。好きなキャラはやっぱりデフォルト以外の服装が見たくなるので今回微妙にバリエーションつけてます。今回はあまり服にはこだわってませんが街に出てきたイメージと初回なので感覚をつかむためにいろいろやった結果です。

一般人気どれくらいなんだろう。ネタバレになるのでどこまで語っていいのかわかりませんが。

最近いろんなコンテンツで皆が過度にネタバレ配慮しすぎて結局本筋のところをネットで語れず、本筋じゃない要素でかろうじて盛り上がってる、場合によっては盛り上がりすらしないみたいなことが少なくない気がしています。どうしてもネタバレ食らいたくなければSNS/ネット断つのが当然では？とも私は思ってしまいます。すぐやらないものに関してのネタバレを恐れても仕方ないし。

というわけでゼイユ初挑戦でした。どんな格好でも髪型でも似合いそうだし、もっと本腰入れてクオリティ上げてまたやりたいです。DLCのストーリー的にも後半も楽しみ。わりとサクッとプレイできたし、ゼイユ/スグリ姉弟がめちゃくちゃ良かったのでDLCおすすめです。

参考に撮ってたゼイユのスクショとポケセンのヤンキー。こうやって見ると今回のイラストはだいぶ髪型のクセをなくしちゃってますね。上下青の制服は田舎の上下ジャージみたいな印象も都会のおしゃれな制服の印象もどちらも感じました。

I played the DLC! I was wondering why I had so little time, but it turned out that thanks to Pokémon Sleep, I had naturally been sleeping more. So, by temporarily reducing my sleep, I managed to play through the DLC. It felt like a tug-of-war between Pokémon and the time available to play Pokémon.

Upon first sight, Carmine seemed just ordinarily cute. But after playing the DLC, she became my favorite female character in PokemonSV! Even during the gameplay, my impression of her changed dramatically – I really liked her. When I have a character I love, I naturally want to see them in outfits other than their default, so I've added some slight variations this time. While I didn't focus much on her clothing this time, I tried different styles to get a feel for how to depict her as if she were out in the city.

I wonder how popular she is among the general audience. I'm unsure how much I can talk about without giving away spoilers.

Recently, I feel that in various content, everyone's so overly cautious about spoilers that they end up not discussing the main points online, and only get excited about minor details – if they even get excited at all. I think if you really don't want to be spoiled, you should naturally avoid social media and the internet. There's no point in fearing spoilers for things you won't immediately engage with.

So, this was my first attempt at Carmine. She seems to suit any outfit or hairstyle. I want to put more effort into it and raise the quality for the next time. I'm also looking forward to the latter part of the DLC story. It was relatively quick to play through, and the dynamic between the siblings Carmine and Kieran was fantastic. I highly recommend the DLC.

For reference, I had taken screenshots of Carmine and a punk from the Pokémon Center. Comparing them, I realized I've greatly reduced the unique aspects of her hairstyle in my illustrations. The blue uniform gave me both the impression of rural gym wear and stylish urban school uniform.
