Chapter 12: Oath of Judah — Zeroth-Rated power Unleashed! Divine Grace Barrier, deploy!
Added 2025-06-25 19:44:23 +0000 UTCUnder the astonished gaze of the onlookers, Theresa, with a faint smile, deployed the Oath of Judah. Thirteen Soulium spears, connected by golden chains, shot into the void, followed by an immense and suffocating pressure.
"Everyone, stay close to me!" Welt shouted. The group quickly huddled around him. He tapped his staff on the ground, and a black-gold barrier enveloped them, noticeably easing the oppressive sensation.

The sound of gears grinding filled the air as Theresa channeled her Power of The Permanence into the Oath of Judah, revitalizing it. The Oath of Judah responded by projecting a pale golden barrier, from which countless interlocking golden gears materialized before their astonished eyes.
Divine Grace Barrier
Roar!
The Doomsday Beast panicked and hastily transformed into its second form, summoning light cannons on its back to bombard the group.
But to its horror, the energy of the light cannons rapidly dissipated within the pale golden barrier. Soon, even the beast itself began to feel its power draining away.
A More Refined Divine Grace Barrier
"Divine Grace Barrier, enhanced with Celestial Judgment!"
"Oath of Judah, drain it dry!"
Theresa shouted excitedly, her eyes shining with vitality. Welt stared in astonishment at her boundless energy. As far as he knew, Theresa wasn't supposed to be a Fusion Warrior. Why was the Divine Grace Barrier having no effect on her?
Lost in her excitement, Theresa ignored Welt's thoughts. With a triumphant grin, she eagerly channeled the Power of The Permanence from her body into the Oath of Judah. Under the awestruck gazes of everyone, a magic circle composed of Star Rings formed, its spiraling rings tightening around the Doomsday Beast, while stars swirled around it.
This was a personalized version of Celestial Judgment—the ultimate move of Divine Grace Anthem.
Everyone watched as the seemingly terrifying Doomsday Beast was slowly crushed to death. The Divine Grace Barrier was nearing its end, primarily because Theresa could no longer sustain the energy drain. After all, she was merely a follower of The Permanence, with limited reserves of its power. This was also why the Divine Grace Barrier had no corrosive effect on her.
The key factor was that her body no longer contained Honkai energy, which the barrier targeted, but rather the Power of The Permanence—a force beyond its jurisdiction.
"Roar!"
Just when everyone thought the Doomsday Beast was about to be annihilated, the last surviving head unleashed a devastating energy blast from its mouth. As the blast hurtled toward the group, Stelle fearlessly stepped forward, using her body as a shield to intercept the attack.
"Stelle!" Himeko, Welt, and March 7th cried out in alarm, while Dan Heng turned to look at her with concern.
Having expended its final attack, the Doomsday Beast was crushed by the magic circle formed by Celestial Judgment. Its concentrated energy was absorbed and purified by the Oath of Judah, replenishing Theresa's depleted reserves and significantly improving her condition. The exhausted bishop felt her strength returning.
Meanwhile, as Stelle bravely shielded the group from the energy blast, she glimpsed a towering figure with white hair and golden eyes: the Aeon, Nanook.
Now that's truly ridiculous, she thought.
Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, cast a fleeting glance her way, causing the Stellaron within her to tremble, showing faint signs of awakening.
Outside, Stelle's hair suddenly stood on end. A wave of destructive energy surged through her veins, and her eyes began to glow with a faint golden light. Just as everyone feared she was about to explode, Welt swiftly knocked her unconscious with his staff, suppressing the destructive energy. A collective sigh of relief swept through the group.
Theresa breathed a sigh of relief, but her body was soon overwhelmed by the immense energy she had absorbed. The vast power was rapidly transforming into the Power of The Permanence, which the Vishnu Super Transformation Factors within her greedily devoured to accelerate their own growth before falling dormant once more.
Theresa wondered if they were undergoing a metamorphosis.

A message from the Homu System appeared. Theresa smiled weakly, but she could no longer fight the exhaustion and began to collapse. Himeko swiftly moved forward and caught her in her arms.
"Miss Himeko, is Theresa alright?" March 7th asked anxiously. Himeko smiled reassuringly, gazing tenderly at Theresa, who had fallen asleep in her embrace. She gently scooped Theresa into a princess carry.
"She's fine," Himeko replied. "Just exhausted. Let her rest."
Himeko gently cradled the unconscious Theresa in her arms. Everyone understood the immense effort she had exerted. With the Doomsday Beast crisis resolved, the remaining Antimatter Legion forces were easily dealt with thanks to the combined efforts of Welt, Himeko, and the rest of the team.
Theresa and Stelle rested in the medical bay, attended by doctors tending to the wounded. Even the injured stifled their groans, unwilling to disturb the rest of the day's heroes.
After clearing out the Antimatter Legion, Himeko and Welt postponed their train departure by a day, wanting Theresa and Stelle to have an extra day to recover. There was no urgent need to rush the trailblazing journey.
The next morning, Theresa and Stelle woke up refreshed, stretching and yawning. They paused upon seeing each other, then exchanged smiles. Feeling rejuvenated, they climbed out of bed. After being checked over by the doctors and given the all-clear, staff members directed them to Herta's office.
As they opened the door, they unexpectedly found Herta, Himeko, Welt, and the others already in a meeting.
"Well, look who's awake! Our two great heroes," Herta said, surveying the refreshed and energetic Theresa and Stelle.
"Mmm, we've had enough sleep. Was the Space Station attacked again today?" Theresa asked Herta.
"No more incursions. The Antimatter Legion retreated after losing track of the Stellaron's presence. The only remaining issue is ensuring someone guards the Stellaron-induced rifts to prevent the monsters inside from escaping and attacking people."
"Oh, and here are your terminals. Asta and I opened Credit Point accounts for you as a token of our gratitude. As the saviors of the Space Station, we're awarding two million Credit Points to each of you. And for our two greatest heroes, Theresa and Stelle, you'll each receive ten million."
Herta's words left Theresa and Stelle breathless. The sudden windfall left them momentarily overwhelmed.
"Please accept this. You both deserve it," Himeko said with a warm smile, nodding gently at the two girls. Welt also nodded in agreement.
"Alright, thank you," Theresa said, not protesting, knowing she had truly earned it. Seeing her acceptance, Stelle also put away her terminal.
"Now, we have a burning question, Theresa," Asta said, her eyes shining with curiosity. "What exactly is that cross of yours? It's an unbelievably powerful weapon!" Everyone knew Herta had prompted Asta to ask.
"Old Yang," Theresa said, glancing at Welt, who nodded in approval.
"They're trustworthy," Welt said, looking at Herta and Asta. "We've worked together many times." Himeko smiled and nodded in agreement.
