Chapter 43: Theresa: Here's a Massive Oath of Judah for You!
Added 2025-07-01 19:37:08 +0000 UTCNext, Scott, slightly annoyed, instructed Dr. Dig to arrange matches against opponents they considered more formidable. Unfortunately, March 7th's relentless attacks froze these challengers to the bone, leaving them shivering and sneezing as they withdrew from the competition.
Finally, Scott unveiled his prized possessions: five robots of varying designs, which he dubbed the Four Great Machine Kings. When asked why there weren't five kings, he retorted, "If the Four Heavenly Kings can have five members, why can't robots?"
Thus, these four expensively acquired robots became known as the Four Great Machine Kings. Armed with a terrifying array of weapons—chainsaws, iron hammers, greatswords, and iron whips—they had helped Scott win countless Shields in Winter City and left many challengers maimed and defeated.
Currently, only one person could defeat the Four Great Machine Kings: Luka, the three-time consecutive Fight Club champion. With his mechanical arm and status as a Pathstrider of Nihility who relied solely on physical attacks, he remained the sole victor against this mechanical gauntlet.
"Next, please welcome the Four Great Machine Kings to the arena! Introducing the Iron Hammer Machine King, the Iron Whip Machine King, the Great Sword Machine King, the Crushing Machine King, and the most ferocious of all, the Chainsaw Machine King! Let me reiterate: anyone who wishes to withdraw from the challenge may do so now. However, the Shield of Winter City will then become the property of the Fight Club."
"If you're truly determined to proceed, you must bear the risks yourselves. Teriri Magic Squad, do you still wish to continue the challenge?" Dr. Dig called out reluctantly to Theresa and the other cute and lovely girls of the squad.
"Of course we're continuing! Bring it on! Who's afraid of who?" March 7th shouted back defiantly, showing no sign of backing down.
Dr. Dig sighed inwardly. "Alright, very spirited! Since all warnings have been given, let the match begin!" He hastily scrambled off the arena floor to avoid being accidentally injured by the robots.
"So, these five menacing-looking machines are the ones responsible for all the broken bones and missing limbs. Time to tear them apart!"
Amidst the gasps of the Underworld crowd, Theresa summoned the Oath of Judah. Since the robots had drawn their weapons, she would gladly reciprocate. She intended to dismantle them all to prevent them from harming anyone else, and not just these four machines, but also the Fight Club—the root of all evil in the Underworld!
Boom!
[Enemy detected. Commencing annihilation!]
The four robots' eyes glowed crimson as they charged toward Theresa, brandishing their weapons.
"World's Cutest Heavy Strike!"
Wham!
The Iron Hammer Machine King was flattened and disabled by the Oath of Judah. Scott winced as he watched his prized machine, which he had considered indestructible, be annihilated in a single blow. He slumped back in his seat, unaware of the terror that was about to follow.
"World's Cutest Flying Kick!"
Theresa's short legs propelled her into a flying kick aimed at the Iron Whip Machine King. With a thunderous crash, she kicked a massive, sparking dent into the robot's chest. The mangled machine grazed Scott's scalp as it careened into the Fight Club's main gate under the horrified gaze of Scott and the crowd. The robot self-destructed, blasting the gate into smithereens.
The Iron Whip Machine King was instantly destroyed. Scott clutched his chest, gasping for breath, as his servant rushed to hand him emergency medication for his high blood pressure.
Boom!
Theresa backflipped to evade the Great Sword Machine King's slashing blade, which tore a massive crater into the arena floor.
"World's number one... Iron Mountain Lean!"
Theresa retreated to build momentum, then braced herself as the Great Sword Machine King charged forward. At the last moment, she slammed her shoulder into the robot's chest.
Thud!
Theresa's delicate shoulder struck the robot's armor, visibly denting it. Mechanical parts scattered everywhere as the Great Sword Machine King exploded from the force of her Iron Mountain Lean.
"Hehe, just one left! Time to use Herta's signature move!"
Theresa swung the Oath of Judah aloft, leaped into the air, and spun halfway around.
"Never seen a Judah this big before, huh? Here's a gift for you!"
Boom!
The Oath of Judah crashed down on the last two robots—the Chainsaw Machine King and the Crushing Machine King—reducing them to scrap. Theresa grinned triumphantly at Scott, who looked like he was about to have a stroke from fear.
"Hey, old man! We've cleared the ninth round! What about the final challenge?"
Theresa and the other women stood on the shattered arena floor, shouting at Scott.
"That's right! Everyone's watching. You wouldn't try to cheat, would you?"
March 7th stood with her hands on her hips, glaring at Scott. "Who's trying to cheat now? Hurry up and fetch Luka, the fighting champion!"
Scott roared furiously. "But Boss Scott," Dr. Dig stammered, looking embarrassed, "Luka hasn't been back to the Fight Club since he learned the truth."
"So what?" Scott bellowed. "He still owes me a favor! Don't forget who paid for his mechanical arm. Even if I tricked him into luring fighters from the Underworld, he still owes me that debt!"
Dr. Dig nodded silently, having long since seen through Scott's despicable nature. He wiped Scott's spittle from his face and sent someone to fetch Luka for the final showdown—the tenth match, the grand finale.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please bear with us! We've already sent for Luka, the fighting champion. Whoever defeats him will claim the Shield prize money!" Dr. Dig announced ingratiatingly to Theresa and the others. He secretly wished Scott would choke on his own anger; in the Underworld, everyone hated that scum. Scott's greed had ruined countless families, driving them to ruin and despair—everyone wanted him dead.
Scott, now brimming with anticipation, smirked at Theresa and her companions. He was certain that no matter how tough they were, they couldn't possibly match Luka, the three-time consecutive Fight Club champion.
"You damn little brats! You'll pay for my arena and club—you've nearly wrecked the whole place! Don't even think about leaving without paying 100,000 Shields!" Scott glared venomously at Theresa, his mind seething with dark thoughts.
After a while, Luka arrived at the battered Fight Club, flanked by several fighters, his face grim. He glanced in surprise at Theresa, never imagining this little girl would actually do what he'd always wanted to: tear down the club.
"Alright, Luka, this is your final match. Beat them all senseless—no need to hold back. Don't worry about being gentle. Just crush them. I want them to pay for my club!" Scott shouted from afar, his voice dripping with malice.
"Old man, this is the last time. Win or lose, don't blame me!" Luka retorted, his eyes fixed on Theresa and her companions. He knew exactly what he had to do: use them as an excuse to dismantle the club once and for all. He refused to let this harmful establishment continue to exist in the Underworld.
"Hmph. You better take this seriously, or else—" Scott sneered, his eyes warning Luka.
Crack!
Luka clenched his fist, his gaze locked on Scott. He desperately wanted to slam his fist into that loathsome old face, but he couldn't bring himself to strike an ordinary person. He fought to protect the weak, not to aid evil.
