I at least need the email to trigger me to go to Patreon, but email fatigue is also an issue for me. Good points above!

I have email fatigue but I would never open the PDF. I'd rather have it in my email inbox so I can read it if I choose.

I'm much more likely to interact with a newsletter when I'm checking email on a computer. I only read Patreon updates on my phone, and my level of interaction/attention available is limited.

I'm likely to read it following an email, but I'll never be able to find the email to look at it again, so if they become a resource they'd be more useful to me on Patreon. Pdfs can be a bit awkward to read on a phone though, I imagine emails are more likely to be responsive. Something responsive on Patreon that was copied out in a notification email might be ideal, Maybe that's both?

I agree. email fatigue is a big deal for me.

Patreon sends an email for every update and my email is already a point of overwhelm as i generally never look at newsletter type emails and they flood our inboxes now a days. I'd personally prefer if we skipped the email and just let Patreon email those who leave that enabled. It would give all of us more of an individual choice on how it gets delivered. I am concerned that if you choose both that many like myself would just end up getting 2 emails for it every month. One for the patreon post of the newsletter and another for just the newsletter.
