Hello Brains & Hearts!

Summer is almost over, and we hope that you all have been able to cope with the heat waves that have plagued the planet this year. 🧡 We’ve almost made it to Autumn! (Thank goodness. Otherwise I’d need a bucket of which to melt into! Though I hope those of you who are more lizard-like enjoy these final weeks of heat!)

As for us, we’re going through some big transitions as a company, which is scary honestly, but it’s also been ridiculously exciting! We’ll update you more in the coming months as things finish transitioning and settle!

Sadly though, one of our team members recently had to say goodbye to their soul-dog and best friend of 12 years. We are deeply saddened for their loss, and we are doing what we can to ensure they have the time they need to grieve as the waves come. 🧡 If you wish to send any well wishes, we’ll make sure that they see them.

This means that the Production Team will work to edit this Short and get it posted first. The other two options will still come but they will come after since they did not win the vote. 🧡

Presently we are aiming to get polls posted and completed within the first half of the month. We will let you know if this ends up adjusting at all!

Your behind the scenes clips for this month are briefly delayed due to how the Production schedule (ie: shooting videos) fell this month. They will be available about a week into September so look out for that post!

What We Accomplished This Month

Jessica submitted a talk for the PESI conference with Ari Tuckman (author of ADHD After Dark), called “Is ADHD a Superpower – and does it even need to be?”
- Name sound familiar? Jessica interviewed Ari back in 2019! Check it out here 👉 Click Me!
- PESI is a conference for mental health professionals; the talk is called “Is ADHD a Superpower – and does it even need to be?” and focuses on a strengths based approach that doesn’t deny ADHD challenges.
Jessica finished chapter 5 on “How to Sleep” – thanks for those who attended last month’s brain board and helped with that!
Jessica, Stephen and Palestrina were invited to VidSummit by Spreadshop!
J2 and Harley have started work on a proper company handbook for our team!
An article Jessica was interviewed for came out in Bust magazine – in PRINT!

There’s some exciting stuff happening with the book next month too– a couple chapters are being sent over next month to the UK publishers. Fingers crossed that the book will be published internationally!!
