The Delivery - Gallery

A Gothic midwinter adventure that leads to a remote place.

Completed: 25 April 2021

Just when the owner of a small bakery was about to close his shop, a strange client appeared with a remarkable request for a large delivery. It is the beginning of a new Gothic midwinter adventure that leads to a remote place, where dwellers from a long-forgotten era return to an abandoned palace to celebrate the darkest days of the year.

Note: you can download the complete series at the bottom of this post.

A year later, on a cold and dark late afternoon, just before closing time...

Thanks! It took a while to read your message for I'm on holiday but as always very much appreciate any feedback on my work. Glad you like the series :o)

Priapus of Milet

Once again, Brilliant imagination. Horny friendly ha

hornymevenky

Well, that does not sound too bad either ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Lucky boys! I envy them! I will have to content myself with circuit parties when this pandemic is over!

Darrell BlackandBlue

Thanks, Danny. Very much appreciated! In the end, we have come full circle and at the start of a new adventure, so the viewer can continue to imagine what's going to happen next. I guess they're in for an annual Delivery ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Thanks, Nicholas! It was a real pleasure working on this long and elaborate story. Could have continued forever, but had to end the series at some point. I think this was the right moment, but I'm sure the couple will return on another adventure :o)

Priapus of Milet

Rich baroque designs and handsome men in a clever story. The facial expressions on your characters lend so much to the storyline. I thought it was clever on how you ended the tale. Nothing like repeat business huh? Looking forward to what you give to us next week.

Danny York

What a fabulous story David, so beautiful and a good and strong ‘end’. Hopefully we’ll meet this handsome couple somewhere again in the future. You’ve done yourself proud again, you are a great and fantastic storyteller. As always have a nice and fine week!

Nicholas Witkamp

Muchas gracias. ¡Es usted muy amable y muy apreciado!

Priapus of Milet

Thanks! Yes, I think you're right, but I just need one more short finishing touch ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Además de lo cautivadora de tus historias que es innegable , siempre me fascinan los detalles de diseño y la recreación de los diferentes escenarios. Eres un gran artista !!!

FHG

This would have been I fine ending, but I trust your judgment!

Darrell BlackandBlue

Thanks, Folk! That's high praise indeed and very much appreciated! I always try to make each image a bit more interesting with some additional details and not to make the storyline too predictable. Things can get boring very quickly, and it's good to hear that I'm succeeding so far :o)

Priapus of Milet

I'm enjoying this very much! The gay adventure into a different world, the unexpected twists, the attention to detail... especially that! When you look at today's last picture, bottom left, the feet of two chandeliers... feature a group of handsome young men! I wonder where else you have added small details like that! But above all, and this applies to all your stories, you take us to historic, future or imagined places and show them to us in all their splendour!

Folk

Thanks, Rob! Yes, always need a good twist, so the end of the series will be less predictable ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Good question and yes, I'm sure they'll buy a refrigerator magnet, mug or placemat at one of those horrible gift shops at the end of the tour ;o)

Priapus of Milet

That is quite the twist! I wonder what the ending will be like

Roddy Sabers

In panel 211, where the boys are viewing themselves at the party in the picture, I wonder what the picture's caption might read. Then if they'd go to the ubiquitous gift shop to get a print of it

Bennett

Thanks, Nicholas! Yes, only two rounds to go. It has been a long journey, and it has to end somewhere, at some point. I wonder what will happen next ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Well that’s a very hefty fuckfeast and I also see a lot of tenderness and caring ❤️ I really enjoy this. Still even two! rounds to go, I have no idea where the story will go and that excites me very much!

Nicholas Witkamp

Thanks, Jon! yes, it all looks a bit ominous, but I hope it ends well for those two ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Shades of 'The Fearless Vampire Killers'. I'm afraid this won't end well... I can't wait!

Jon Goerner

Merci Alexis, c'est merveilleux d'entendre! :o) This is my homage to the wonderful French baroque art and culture. Visited Versailles several times and I'm still overwhelmed by all of it; the building, the art, the gardens etc. Tout est magnifique avec une grandeur spectaculaire que seuls les Français savent réaliser :o)

Priapus of Milet

Wahou ! As a Frenchman I am delighted to follow this erotic super production in Versailles, this is amazing! J'adore.

Alexis Thuaux

Thanks! :o)

Priapus of Milet

This is getting more and more interesting!

Roddy Sabers

Hello Bennet, I'm afraid the file only will get bigger, but no problem. I've added a zip-file with this week's update only at the bottom of the post as well (Delivery_Gallery Week12), and I'll do that till completing the project. Hope this helps!

Priapus of Milet

Thanks, Nicholas! Much appreciated. Yes, in those days thy mush have had an absolute horror for empty spaces. With all the details it's the perfect project for a prolonged lockdown ;o

Priapus of Milet

Thanks, Danny! I guess you're right, we're heading to a classic old-fashioned baroque orgy to complete the evening :o)

Priapus of Milet

I totally agree with Danny....It’s such an adventure and I hope it does not end soon. Just gorgeous! All the richness of the details of the people and their surroundings. I’m delightfully drowning and I’m sure you come to the rescue David 🤪🥰 As always have a very nice and adventurous week 😁

Nicholas Witkamp

Love it! This party is really getting started. I'm so eager to see where you take us in the story. Just know there is a big wow factor lol.

Danny York

Could it be possible that you post a zip file of just this week's renderings (i.e., the latest renderings) so that I don't have to download the series' getting-larger-all-the-time zip file? I appreciate the zip file as I have an older computer so online viewing takes a long time, and downloading the large (entire) series uses up my bandwidth. Thanks.

Bennett

Thanks, that's good to hear! Yes, lots of details this time. I guess it's a way to keep me busy during a prolonged lockdown ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Esto cada vez se pone mejor jeje...y sigo admirando cada detalle de la ambientación y decoración de la historia.

FHG

You're right, but they're just starting, so the goodies perhaps come later at the end? ;o)

Priapus of Milet

I don't see any of their bakery goodies on the tables. Perhaps they're all for the grand finale? Or perhaps take-aways for the guests when they leave as a reminder of the finer things from their mortal life? (Or maybe it's for an epic food fight )

Bennett

Yes, woops... sorry about that... ;o)

Priapus of Milet

woops, wait what? lol looking forward...

Darrell BlackandBlue

Thanks! Bit of a stretch working with such large settings and so many characters, so, its a bit of an experiment and seem to have found a way.

Priapus of Milet

Sorry for the slow progress, too many details I guess... But don't worry, we'll get there :o)

Priapus of Milet

There are so many possibilities but I’m making no lists. The best is always how you finish the adventure......as always David, a fine and creative week 😜🤗

Nicholas Witkamp

I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how this goes on...🤭🙄

Nicholas Witkamp

Thanks! Yes, an essential ingredient in any Gothic story. Midnight is always happy hour ;o)

Priapus of Milet

The usage of clocks on mantles in gothic tales is always awesome. Great addition's this week.

Danny York

Yes, it's a grey and colourless world for the departed, hence they come back once a year, to celebrate life in grand style, with sublime colours and bright lights :o)

Priapus of Milet

Curioso detalle...donde hay vida real esta la luz y donde están los zombie no hay color ni luz y sin embrago hay alegría y celebracion....cual es el próximo mensaje que nos tienes ?

FHG

Thanks! Yes, old school trick to prevent the viewer from getting bored when progress is very slow ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Love your weekly cliff hangers. Reminds me of reading a comic book series and eagerly waiting for the next issue.

Danny York

Thanks, Danny! Yes, it's a delight working on this project. Baroque is the ultimate subject for adding endless details ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Thanks, Tornado! I guess that's a really good sign and I'll keep that in mind. We're already on the dark side in this story, so that's a beginning ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Thanks! Wanted to create a really cold and gloomy winter scene for this story, glad to hear that it's working :o)

Priapus of Milet

I certainly enjoyed this weeks updates. What always impress me is that your works reflect how much you enjoy creating them. Great job.

Danny York

You always intrigued me with such wild variations of your artwork. I even say that in caught off guard in my responses. Lovely and fortunate to be in your world. Don’t forget my messages on dark magic. He he he.

Tornado

David, you can do winter scenes with dark, looming skies and snow storms better than anyone! The rest is great too. Looks like this is going to be another one of our very best works. Thanks very much!

Tuesday05

¡Gracias! Muy apreciado y contento de que te guste. Es un buen proyecto en el que trabajar en este momento.

Priapus of Milet

Maravilloso trabajo como siempre...el nivel de detalles en la arquitectura, las texturas, luces y sombras...felicitaciones !

FHG

Thanks, Mendy, glad you like it and yes, you're right, it's on the wrong side. Very observant of you! Thought of that, but imagined no one would notice. Perhaps the bakery boys imported the car from the continent. After all, the place is not very English either, with an equestrian statue of Louis XIV on the main square. So the whole thing it's a bit of a mess... ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Wrong SIDE, not wrong "dude" :)

Mendy

The palace interior is remarkable . And I couldn't help wondering if there is a connection between the gaunt messenger who brought the order to the bakery and the grim reaper over the doorway. And, just a question: isn't the steering wheel in the lorry on the wrong dude for England?

Mendy

Thanks, Danny! Must be a delightful experience, but also very gloomy and cold, so had to add a more comfortable room as well for those fellas ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Looking at this weeks post. I could easily imagine the conversation these to fellas were having as they walked through the mansion. Lots of exclamations lol. Great job David.

Danny York

Yes, I guess you're right. Looks more Eglish. Not sure if the original model is based on any existing building. Well, at least the owner must have been the collector of a massive fortune, that's for sure ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Thanks Nicholas! Yes, lots of architecture this time, and the couple still have a lot of time to kill during a long and cold night in an empty palace. So what better way to keep warm! :o)

Priapus of Milet

EnglishGreat estate, well done The interior is more French and the exterior more English indicating a collector, perhaps?

Thomas Polk

Well didn’t see that one coming but I like it very much. I just love architecture so much, I have a lot of beautiful books on the subject. I also love it that Jerry ;) is brown, can not wait for some steamy action between them. Well you see when is it Sunday again??? Have a lot of inspiration and also a fabulous week, big hug from Nick

Nicholas Witkamp

Thanks! :o))

Priapus of Milet

Loving this piece.

Danny York

Yes, there's always something haunting in those places ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Ummm ya sabemos los que seguimos tus historias que estas casas señoriales guardan secretos muy "sorprendentes " hehehe

FHG

Yes, that comes in very handy. I have added them to all my post now.

Priapus of Milet

Thanks! Yes, or Tom and Jerry ;o) Should have been the name of the bakery "Tom & Jerry's"

Priapus of Milet

Thanks! That's good to hear and yes, I guess it's something to be proud about ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Thank you for the download.zip.

Nicholas Witkamp

This begins as a very promising good old fashioned story. Really like Tom and his boyfriend Nate?!?

Nicholas Witkamp

I really like and love the name, it stands out, something you can be really proud of.

Nicholas Witkamp

Priapus was a fertility god in Greek mythology. When I created a username for my Priapus Blog that one was already in use, so I had to add something. I added Miletus (or modern-day Milet), it was an ancient Greek city on the western coast of Anatolia, among the greatest and wealthiest of Greek cities. I was probably reading something about it at that time, but now I'm stuck with it, for I didn't know it would also become the name of the blog itself...

Priapus of Milet

Hi there! Out of curiosity, what does Priapus of Milet refer to? And, how do you pronounce Milet?

Ragduh56

Thanks, FHG! Yes, lots of details and with the lockdown going on I have all the time in the world to add more, so be prepared! ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Es impresionante el nivel de detalle que pones en cada historia !! Además del toque siempre erótico y los guiones tan interesantes para deleitarnos.

FHG

Hi Joël. Yes, you're right, that would be the perfect finishing touch! I'll see what I can do. Thanks! :o)

Priapus of Milet

Hi. This is a very mouthwatering start. I'm not very advanced in digital drawing : would it have been complicated to leave traces of cream on the buttock of Tommy's friend? I would have found it even sexier. Have a good week.

Joël
